Voting to send 'aid' is very popular, even though 'aid' usually means big fragmentation artillery rounds and great big bombs. In mid 2021 Congress voted to send 'aid' to 'Ukraine'. The 'aid' was big frag shells and payroll for the huge Ukrainian armed forces to use on whom? Russian forces were not in Ukraine, the 'aid' was used to kill civilians in Donetsk, and the reason Russian Federation forces were moved into what was then part of Ukraine was to protect civilians of Donetsk on Feb 24th. Equally 'helping Israel defend itself' is huge bombs for destroying hospitals and huge amounts of artillery to destroy the refugee camp in northern Gaza.
Yes. They are fighting people we don't like. Aren't you glad it is them and not you? If our military enlistment keeps falling, the draft will have to come back.,
The people we shouldn't have in the country are among the huge number of immigrants Joey Biden invites in. Drafting people and sending them to the middle of nowhere does nothing except make enemies and increase profits of our weapons makers.
Ukraine had rebellions fomented by Russia. It's all a part of the same war of conquest started less overtly by Russia many years ago. We help our friends, especially when they're fighting our enemies, like most nations do. I don't support aid to Israel. Their atrocities are overlooked because they're our allies, though. Unfortunately for us we will share the blame for what they do.
