this madness has to end and only way to end it is first admitting the common denominator, and it isn't guns, and it sure the hell isn't white supremacy

those are just distractions, so we won't have to address the real problem
every one is too scared to point the finger where it needs to be pointed because they will be labeled a racist
but dammit I don't give a damn if you call me a racist something needs to be done and soon
because when you can't take your kids to the county fair without worrying about getting shot by some thugs that isn't the America I want to live in that no one should be forced to live in

In your completely not-racist opinion, what needs to be done?
Have y’all moved on from just arming more people?

As sad as this is its a daily thing in liberal city of Chicago and the shootings there are much worse.

We are told most mass shootings are from right wingers but the truth is most mass shootings probably come from left wingers.

I know it's a bit off topic but many mass shootings are politicalized and blamed on the right. That last one in Colorado had many blaming Republicans before any details of the killer was released.

To fix a problem you have to understand the problem.
But Republicans have, over the years, prevented any study of firearm violence.
So if you’re looking for someone to blame for the absence of a solution, blame Republicans.

A culture needs to be changed the gang culture the thug culture
and if that is racist so be it
the coddling, the making excuse for, and the distractions won't change it
CRT won't change it, BLM won't change it, and defund the police sure in the hell won't change it
the culture has to be changed from the inside
but how in the hell can that be done when the culture glorifies gang life thug life

Absolutely. Religious ideology, socioeconomic status and mental illness seems to be the primary reason behind random shootings / mass violence.

What do you believe we should do to address it since you seem to have missed the question.

    Screw the gun grabbing crap
Its is nothing but a distraction

whites are 36% likely of owning a gun
    blacks are at 24%
there is a vast more guns in the hands of whites than blacks
so if guns were the problem and not the person not the culture why isn't whites doing all these public shootings?

You said something needs to be done, what do you recommend?

Most people do not want to defund the police, they just want them held responsible.

How do you “hold culture accountable”?

Gun crimes are pretty heavily prosecuted now, do you recommend longer sentencing? Harsher sentencing including capital punishment? Or something else?

How did republicans prevent all the liberal anti gun groups from studying gun violence? I’m willing to bet it’s been studied to death and the results are not lining up with liberal agendas.

Instead of coddling them blaming all their problem on racism, start shunning and ostracizing the culture instead of glorifying it

What should be done? Treat gangs like the terrorists they are. One person in a gang commits a crime and they’re all guilty of it. Prevent known gang bangers from hanging with other known gang bsngers. Prevent known gang bangers from being in certain locations. Utilize stop and frisk aggressively. Increase the penalty for crimes where guns are used.

since most of the gun violence is committed by gangs, then the obvious solution is to target them.

    Likely socioeconomic status.
If it was crime related it was not a random act however.

Can you give me an example of how we do this?

they need to start using the RICO statute if a gang member commits a murder during gang activity then everyone in that gang is equally guilty

So you want to prevent people from being around others that you have deemed to be a risk? And you want who to enforce that? Do you not see the potential dangers of policing social activity?

Stop and frisk — especially if targeted like is likely being advocated in this thread — will be defeated in court easily. Unless you are fine with police just doing this to everyone… Imagine a public TSA…

You're doing it right now with your excuse making blaming everything else but the person that did it and the culture that propagates it

And what happens when other organizations or groups of people are targeted?

If a biker kills someone the entire group should be arrested for murder? This could easily be construed to clubs and other organized groups.

So instead of being able to directly answer the big question of “how” you have turned to creating strawman to argue against?

I have not once “not blamed” the perpetrator.
If you want me to condemn “thug” culture I can and do easily but you have not addressed how we combat the violence it causes outside of stricter penalties which I agree with.

So take your strawman arguments back and come up with a solution we can legally implement.

You go fishing where the fish are, you don't fish in your bathtub, do you?
You target the areas with the most amount of crime
but you call that racist unless an area with hardly any crime is also targeted wasting police man power instead of going where the crime is at

Everything I mentioned was already tried in California 20 years ago, the ACLU lost their minds, sued, won, and the gang murders continued to climb. So much for ‘if it saves just one life.’ The left doesn’t want to dish out the tough love needed to solve this problem. Instead, as the black body count climbs, they tell us white supremacists are the most lethal threat this country faces.

If the group the biker belongs to is labeled as a terrorist threat, then yes, they all go down. Do you want to end the violence or not?

not once in your statement did you blame the individual or the culture

so no it isn't a straw man it is a statement of fact
you have been programmed to blame it on everything else but the individual but the culture that you don't even realize you are doing it
