200,000 people under evacuation order in California wildfires
    Source: https://fox8.com/2019/10/28/200000-people-under-evacuation-order-in-california-wildfires/

Who the hell is SETTING these fires over here? Frankly, I'm sick of this #$#!&! every single year - multiple times a year! I've said before, there is NO SUCH THING AS A "Fire Season." We have Winter. We have Summer. We have Spring. We have Fall. There is no earthly nominative condition anywhere on the planet called "Fire Season."

I'm tired of breathing burned out material every single year. The health consequences of this #@%@% has got to have some kind of accumulative effect net/net, if you continue to be forced to breathe this stuff annually.

We've now got the Kincade Fire raging in... wait for it...wait for it... you guessed it, Sonoma County, yet again. What the hell! We've also got a "twin" raging now in Southern California, burning westward towards the 405 freeway. We already sent hundreds of fire fighters from Southern California, up to Northern California, to deal with Kincaid. Now, Southern California's major fire spiked after they left! Who the hell is left in Southern California, to deal with that fire?

This is an annual ordeal. This is NOT a naturally occurring problem in nature. This is CAUSED by someone - not something. Who the hell is doing this out here? It is pretty damn obvious at this point that SOMEONE is doing this.

These fires are no accident and they are just the two major fires in California, right now. There are MANY. They pop-up with seemingly perfect timing as to demand every major fire fighting resource AT THE SAME EXACT TIME. That is NOT a mere coincidence. That's coordination. That's timing. These are indicators of planning. Why are you Californians so fast asleep on these indicators? Why do you not forcefully raise this issue with Sacramento and the State Legislature?

Major portions of the nicest areas of California, are being burned to the ground and nobody has connected the dots on Location, Timing and Intensity. Really, California? Really? You can't put 2 and 2 together to come up with INTENTIONAL BURNING?

Fire Season? Really! You are that damn stupid that you allow "officials" and "media" to brainwash you into actually believing that spontaneous combustion is "normal" and "seasonal" for California?

Come on California! Wake the hell up!!! We are getting burned out over here!!!!!

Fires have been a part of the North American ecosystem for hundreds of thousands of years (possibly excluding some ice ages) or more. Modern, sedentary humans are the only thing that seems to have trouble dealing with them.

The best thing you can do is move somewhere where you're allowed to properly fire-proof your property (and do so).

Hundreds of thousands of years? The North American Ecosystem has been undergoing spontaneous eruptions of non-causal combustion for hundreds of thousands of years. Moreover, the Wildlife of Northern America has never had a problem with such spontaneous eruptions of non-causal combustion - just us "Humans." Wonderful. Just, wonderful.

I think that if this were truly nominative for "North America," we'd see a far different landscape than we do today, far different Wildlife component than we do today and an actual Fossil Record that proved such nominative conditions above the equator here in North America. Unlike Ice, fire requires a minimum of three different (naturally divergent) components in order to exist. Icing conditions on the other hand merely require Water Vapor and a delta in Temperature sufficient to push a liquid to solid. One can be very easily be "seasonal" while the other has the much higher probability for being the net effect of really poor examples of people failing to be very "Human" at all.

I'll bet dollars to donuts & beer that these burning are intentional and sourced with People, not environmental and/or atmospheric causation and/or condition. The frequency, timing and location (year in and year out) make it crystal clear that intent is behind these events. These fires don't have a statistically random signature and the frequency is intensifying each and every year - year after year. On a pure statistical basis, following that increase in frequency (rate) and over the course of "hundreds of thousands of years" - there would literally no place on the North American Continent free from being a total raging inferno by now.

The current trajectory of Frequency (rate) alone debunks the "hundreds of thousands of years" postulate. A simple Point of Control (Bell Curve) analysis using Location and Time Interval Between Events would clearly point this out. The North American Continent no doubt had a higher amount of natural fuel sources (vegetation) on its surface hundreds of thousands of years ago.

If by "intentional and sourced with People" you include accidental (unintentional) ignition by humans, then I for one agree. Many of these fires are most likely the result of some human action. Not necessarily all, of course, as lightning remains a real possibility and statistically must be a factor in some of them, but human activity undoubtedly accounts for the majority of forest and brush fires.

They're trying to depopulate the area. They fly in with drones at night and drop an incendiary device. Don't ask me how I know.

Hey dude, Most of CA is a desert ripe for burning and man is the one who tried to change it into something else. Fires, mudslides, and earthquakes have and will continue go on, in spite of LA painting their streets white and banning the use of water.
Look at this as it's God telling you he is tired of your stupid political choices.
Time to get out before you crack off the continent and find yourself swimming among used needles, radioactive waste from Japan, and polar bears.
The positive side, only 11 years 6 months to go before the end of the world.

From his post, I got the impression he was accusing someone of arson. I mean I hope not, albeit somewhat possible.

Yup. Man made global warming. I just find it amusing when it’s blamed on lightning when it’s usually hikers smoking it up.

I live here and it is simply too frequent for me to go along with that sentiment anymore. I'm inhaling this stuff each and every year. I would call it a "scare tactic" but real people (10s to 100s of thousands) over the years are being, have been and will be displaced by these fires. An increasing number of them are not able to rebuild for various reasons. There are actual plans underway to literally prevent rebuilding on certain lands hit by these fires. Who will own those areas once the land itself recovers from being scorched? Many of these areas are in very nice places in California, in terms of climate and being away from urban sprawl. Where do those continually getting burned out go to rebuild - do they head to the urban areas? Is that the plan - herd people into Urban Centers and build 30 story building (condos) to house them? I don't know. I'm just trying to figure it all out.

Go look at Sonoma County on a map. No, better yet - here:

Tip of the iceberg in these photos as this is not just some of the most beautiful landscape in California. It is some of the most gorgeous topology anywhere in the world. So, why is it constantly burning?

Obviously, a certain percentage are caused by malfeasance in people who carelessly cause fires. Of course, that's going to be a percentage of the total. Some will also be started by the random Arsonist. That makes sense. What does not make any sense to me is the perpetual timing, location and frequency of these fires - both on Northern and Southern California. Maybe I'm just sick and tired of it. Maybe I'm reading more into it. But, something tells me this is not merely by accident or one-off random occurrence. This is too frequent, too often and the same damn places (nice places) keep getting torched like this.

Its not a "season." It feels more like "treason." I've got a sixth sense about these California fires. They don't feel right anymore. They feel out of place at this point - no longer just "random" or "one-off." There is a feeling of "intent" in the air. I for one am sick and tired of it.

I'm thinking..... Washington State, Lakes Areas, or possibly Vancouver - hell, I don't know. All I know is that if you are here, then you are subject to Earthquakes and Fires. If you are in the South, you are subjected to unbearable Humidity, an unconscious Heat Index and Hurricanes. If you are Midwest and Northeast, then you get Flooded. Where can you go anymore in the United States for some peace of mind?

Honestly, I'm thinking Washington State lakes area:

Clean air. No annual round of raging fires. Nice rain fall to scrub the atmosphere each year. Bright sunny skies with mild temperatures and no insidious heat index to deal with. Washington State, is rapidly moving up the list of hopefuls on my board that's for sure. I'm tired of the constant State of Emergency in California. It is getting a bit old.

Beautiful Mercer Island, Washington State lakes area:

Hmmmm. Maybe California is no longer the right place for me. No hate. Just tired of the "Emergent" realm around here over the past few decades.

I'll take any explanation that is the right explanation at this point in the game.

Oh, and by the way - the drone thing - that's a very plausible delivery mechanism despite the fact that you were clearly being sarcastic in your delivery. Was that a Quad or a Hex?

Ok, so let's all go out Cave Shopping this Saturday, in the California Sierra Mountains. That way we won't have anymore need to build houses in places where indigenous vegetation now exists. The only fires in California, will be those that get started in our own Private Caves. No more changing the earth "into something else." I hear that Sotheby's will be having a premium Cave Showing just south of Tahoe this weekend. Natural granite rock cave prices have been falling all summer long in anticipation of a meteoric rise for the Winter months. Cave Condo sounds all warm and fuzzy, no doubt. Just think about all the options and upgrades that will be possible with your purchase. In this interest rate environment, buying a Cave has probably never been more appropriate or timely. What a wonderful opportunity for us all!

That's called classic Conflation. You just combined things that don't belong together because that's what society has been telling you since your birth. Ergo, you've been programmed to 'see' a Fire in the same light as a Mudslide and/or Earthquake. Yet, the Fire has unique properties that can (and does) set it far apart from the others. But, because the others d indeed exist and because they do indeed have a much higher rate of natural occurrence, when you are programmed to consider Fires in the same light it instantly becomes an easy concept to compile in your mind.

These fires are not happening in the middle of downtown New York. Yet, there are plenty of fuel sources for epic fires in downtown New York, as well as plenty of potential causes that could spark a fire in downtown New York.

Gawd told his disciples in-person that he was going to die, be resurrected and would come back in their generation and lifetime. That was over 2,000 years ago, his disciples are all dead now, their generation is long since passed and he's never been seen or heard from again over the millennia. So, if Gawd is doing the talking then I only have but one question: Since you failed to deliver on your most compelling promise of all given to your own disciples when they were alive, why should anyone believe that you give one rats tail about my political choices now?

To late, LOL! We are already swimming in radiated water from Fukushima. We have been so up to our eyeballs in used syringes that we began exporting them up to Seattle, over 15 years ago - now Seattle has the same toxic drug epidemic problem that we swept under the rug for over 40 years:

LOL, the end of the world began more than 2,538 years ago. You are extremely late to the party my dear friend. Extremely, late. ;) However, be not dismayed - for as sure as you read the sound of my keyboard, there will be a New Party emerging soon and that party Will Not End. Ever. ;)

I did indeed. I just can't put a definite finger on the culprit. However, these are indeed acts of Arson. That much should be crystal by now to almost anyone watching. Frequency. Timing. Location. These things are too synchronized in logic to be anything other than predominantly Arson. The only questions that remain are Who and Why.

I would say global socialist AKA Democrats are trying to force Americans out of California. They make it impossible to maintain the land to create high fire danger, then go around and start giant fires to push people out and devalue land. Then punish the rest of California by shutting off their power. California is becoming a third world dictatorship run by the cartels. They even legalized vote harvesting to eliminate any chance of losing power.

That brings up a great point.

Should Californians place a Total Ban on all Wilderness Hiking, given the clear and present threat such hiking presents to the public in the resultant fires they spark? More people have been adversely impacted by so-called "Wildfires" in California's history than those adversely impacted by criminals wielding Firearms.

    Mass Shootings -vs- Mass Burnings

I've never heard of a mass shooting that killed dozens or hundreds, displaced tens or hundreds of thousands from their homes while causing hundreds of millions or billions in property damage and countless healthcare claims in their wake. Seems to me that California Legislators have their priorities backwards.

If what you say is true, then the State should be about the business of banning all Hiking. Basically, turn all open public lands hiking into a Class 1 Felony. Let's put open public lands hiking up there with 1st Degree Murder, 1st Degree Kidnapping and Treason. Let's make the minimum sentence Life in prison. Let's make the maximum sentence Death by lethal injection.

In other words, let's stop playing around with Smokey The Bear in California and start taking the thousands of lives lost, billions in property damage caused and the toxic air quality that results, a lot more serious than we do at present. Maybe knowing that a Fentanyl cocktail will soon be flowing through your veins would be sufficient to deter the Mother who dares goes on a Hike in California.

California! Tough on Crime! (yeah, right)

If Democrats believed their own propaganda about global warming, they would work harder to maintain the forest and protect it from fires. Like cutting down dead trees and control burns. Powerlines aren't new, but Democrat environmental policy, hands off the forest is.

From what I read of your response, you are questioning your own sanity for remaining in CA. Glad you have awakened to the disease that CA spawned.
Note, In your search for a new life, stay away from WA and OR as CA's leakage of loonies has already corrupted the two states above you and they too have become uninhabitable by people with a logical mind.

Those Aliens get all the ink when they're nothing more than cover for the Trillions being wasted by our Government on both "Black" and "Gray" projects the People would never approve - if they actually knew about their existence. The real Aliens are the Projects that we are not supposed to know we're paying for. Ergo, both the U2 and SR71 with both "Aliens" at some point.

"Alien" means "Black " or "Gray" project. Get it? "Gray." "The Grays" are nothing more than tax dollars being spent on Dark and Silent Projects. Ghost Projects. Projects that do not exist and never have existed. The best way to divert, distract, mis-inform and dis-inform is to stir up your imagination with creeping creatures from outer space.

Do you understand the crux of a great Magician? Do you understand that the Magician's greatest talent, his greatest skill, his greatest ability has little at all to do with the Tada moment and everything to do with the Mis-Direction leading into the Tada moment? Any monkey can say "Tada!" and then pull the tablecloth. However, only a prime skilled Magician can cause you to focus on the tablecloth in the first place - when you should have been paying attention to something he did long before you knew a tablecloth would be pulled.

To wit, notice the distraction before the "Tada!" moment some 24 hours into the future here:

First, the misdirection 24 hours earlier. September 10th, 2001.
Then, the "Tablecloth" gets pulled 24 hours later. September 11th, 2001.

Its called "Magic." In this case, "Dark Magic" providing distraction for all the "Grays" being covered in other "Areas." "Area 51" is but one of many "Areas" of "Cover" for "Gray" and "Dark" things. We've been doing business like this for a long, long time now. Ain't nothing new. September 11th, 2001, was more deadly on American soil. However, there was absolutely nothing new about that Tablecloth being "pulled" like Building 7: "Pull it."

Watch carefully. Can you identify the Misdirection in Larry Silverstein's "Pull it" statement before the "Tablecloth" comes crashing down:

Larry, wanted you to believe that there was already such loss of life, that it would be better to "Let's pull it" than to "Let's at least try to save it." Now, ask yourself one simple question, what did Building 7 contain before Larry, commanded that it should be pulled? Moreover, when did Larry, pre-position the demolition team required to "Pull It" and how was it possible for Larry, or anyone else, to know that having a Demolition Team waiting on standby outside Building 7 was going to be necessary in the future on September 11th, 2001?

Do you see the "Alien" now? Or, do you see the "Black" and "Gray" projects in their rightful place instead? "Aliens" are the bloat code of your pre-programmed Mind. That's a bunch of junk code completely unrelated to the truth (the existence of very Dark Projects). I am here to help you recovery your Natural Mind, by helping you streamline your source code, so that you can see the Forest Fire in the midst of the Trees.

Here's the real insidious part. Your tax dollars pay for all this bloated code and the Darkest of Subroutines running underneath it. Until you awaken to that reality, you will, unfortunately continue to see "Aliens" where none exist while never seeing the Dark Projects that do.

Sorry your state is burning, but PLEASE do not move to Colorado. The ones that have from your sorry state are ruining a once glorious place to live. Signed "Everyone already here"

I dunno know. It has too much of a 1960s flare to it all. It just seems a bit dated for Radicals. Remember that term: Radicals? That's what the used to call Domestic Terrorists who lived and operated here in the United States back in the 60s and 70s. Back then the "terrorist" Radical was typically a White Male and increasing in numbers were White Females. They were Ultra Anti-State Operatives who actually (yes, I give it to you here) set fires and actually blew s-h-i-t up:

Now, what I find VERY interesting here is how the tables have now completely turned! Today, the 'equivalent' to these Ultra Left Wing Radicals are the Ultra Right Wing Radicals now in total control of the Republican Party and 100% responsible for the existence of Donald Trump being in the White House. Yesterday, the Ultra Liberals used bombs. Today, the Ultra Conservatives use Hate. Whether Bombs or Hate, its all the Domestic Terrorism that our Media refuses to call... wait for it... Domestic Terrorism. The decades are the only things that have changed. Decades ago, Ultra Liberal Radicals wanted to Change Government. Today, Ultra Conservative Radicals want to Change Government. How ironic.

Change never happens. Why? Because both sides allow themselves to be played by the System. A System that keeps you at each others throats - when the decades prove that you BOTH have the same damn goal: Changing Government. You just can't agree on how that change should take place. So, instead of working TOGETHER to deal with the real problem (The Gawd Damn System) - you allow that System to pit you against each other. How smart is that? How insane is that?

If both of you would learn how to work together, you can both get what you need and want. How sane is that? You shall know the Insane by the fruit that it bears. Likewise, you shall know the Sane by the fruit that it bears just as well. Stupid is as stupid does. Failing to work together is just plain stupid. However, finding a way to work together, that's pure Genius and Unstoppable. Not even this totally corrupt System could stop you, should you find a way to work on solving the same problem together.

A true Leader would be someone who could demonstrate to both the Ultra Leftwinger and Ultra Rightwinger that they BOTH share the exact same goal, purpose and destiny: To be Free. It would take a genius of a Leader to pull that off. A real genius.

I'm trying to understand how that fits. So, you get less usable land and greater amounts of devalued land - all in support of the Liberal Agenda. The Liberals get higher rates of occupancy in urban areas with increased urban density in more tightly controlled regions of the State. Its would be sort of like herding people instead of livestock. Sort of like creating urban farms with high density urban labor forces. Basically, treating people like so much cattle.

I guess I could run with that theory for a little bit, but at some point, I'm going to start asking pragmatic questions about what happens to the California State Economy, how it ultimately suffers (contracts), how its GDP gets reduced, how its QOL goes to hell and how its homeless population goes straight to hell on a bullet train at 300 mph. I mean, you are talking about turning California, basically, into yet another Tijuana, just south of the boarder. I can tell you point blank right now that these Urban Centers in California, are being transformed by immigration from Mexico, as I type and at the same rate that I type.

Hell, I type about 80wpm and that must match the immigration rate from Mexico, at what must be 80ppm (80 people per minute). I'm not trying to be rude, but places like East Oakland (as just one example) is right now being utterly transformed from what used to be a predominantly Black/White demographic to something that in certain regions of the city has already become predominantly Hispanic with dwindling Black and White population segments. I've watched that transformation take place up close and personal and it is spreading like Wildfire (no pun intended). And, not just Oakland. This is an entire East Bay phenomenon taking place and anyone living in the Bay Area knows exactly what I'm talking about it. Its is not a racial thing for me. I'm just calling a fact, a fact. That's the way it is. The entire Bay Area is now being completely transformed and will be mostly Hispanic in short order at this rate - given the immigration from the South.

So, maybe the burnings are a theory of population control in some manner related to the current trajectory of population statistics and the fact that both Southern and Northern California, are being demographically transformed in dramatic fashion. Maybe we should expect demographic change. But, is burning the place down the right way to "control" or "direct" it?

These fires can't be just random. Not anymore they're not. I grew up here. I know California, like the back of my hand. I know how things used to be back in the 70s. The air quality has changed dramatically. The rain fall periods of changed dramatically. The attitudes of people have changed dramatically. The overall IQ has changed dramatically. The culture and its disposition has changed dramatically. You can't drive anywhere anymore. You can't enjoy the California Coast like you used to anymore with sitting in 100 hours of Sunday traffic on a two lane highway.

California, used to be a gorgeous place to live and for many outstanding reasons that were very compelling head and shoulder measures above many other places in the United States. Today? Nope, not so much. The Politics of California has driven this places into the ground on many different levels. Our schools, which were some of the best in the world are now some of the worst. Our public infrastructure is crumbling under the weight of neglect and mismanagement. You can't walk 3 feet anywhere in San Francisco, without smelling someone's urine on the sidewalk and you can't walk 10 feet anywhere in Oakland, without smelling someone's weed habit. We've criminalized the firearm, legalized marijuana, made abortion as easy as pie and created more sanctuary cities than Vatican City itself. We claim forward progress, yet at every step we degrade forward progress and hinder our future as a State.

Little Tijuana. Mark my words today, October 28th, 2019. Someday soon, the world will call us: Little Tijuana. Again, I don't mean that as a racial thing. I mean that as an infrastructural things. We are currently on the path (trajectory) for becoming a slightly more wealth Tijuana, at some point. We have serious issues and if you pay close attention, you realize that our State Legislature is 100% utterly clueless to solve them. Our State Legislature is flat out dumb. Just stupid. All you have to do to prove it to yourself is simply tune into a State Assembly session on nearly any topic under the sun. We have dumb legislators who do dumb things and create dumb legislation that does dumb things. Just dumb.

I still love the State of California. But, I honestly feel like I'm hanging by a thread here. I don't know how much longer I can hold on. I feel like I'm losing grip on this State's a-s-s backwards behavior.

For all those who think I'm some Liberal. You have know idea. I'm a very Rare Bird. I am not a political creature anymore and have not been for years now. I see things as they are. Screwed up by BOTH sides of the political spectrum and getting worse by the hour.

And, you are correct. We already have something that functions no different in practical terms than an Oligarchical form of Government here at the State level in Sacramento. Orange County, is probably one of our last best hopes for what can be in California. Whenever I go visit Newport Beach, I feel more at home than anywhere else in the entire State:

Please don't burn Newport Beach! Its among some of the last Southern California Gems still remaining.

I gave you a like because you are out front with your opinion and I understand your concern, but the amatuer detective in me still says we need proof.

Hell, at this point I'm questioning it as well. Like I said, there are parts of California, that make me proud. Since 1992, those parts are becoming fewer and fewer. However, some areas are still retained as places of balance and common sense. When you look at those places, they are mostly wealthy. I'm not playing the Wealth Card. I'm simply calling it like I see it in this state. Overall, however, this place is going to hell in a hand basket on many other fronts that really matter to the long-term sustainability of California.

Look, clearly, there are two Californias. NoCal and SoCal. NoCal has a smaller version of SoCal down below Los Gatos. And, SoCal has a smaller version of NoCal in the Los Angeles (proper) region. So, both NoCal proper and SoCal proper each have smaller versions within their regions that are the opposite end of the political spectrum relative to each other. There are conservatives here, just not enough and not passionate enough about changing the political climate statewide. If the state capital were in SoCal, we would have a more balanced legislature. I just think conservatives would feel more connected to the process and therefore, more passionate about maintaining balance and order in the universe of California state politics. Sacramento, used to be closer to conservative territory but not anymore. Certainly, not since Pete Wilson.

Today in California, it is like certain states in the South. There's just a strong cultural component that exists now which prevents a real counter view in politics from ever having real power or even a share of real power. That's the problem in California, today. Its hell bent on maintaining its Ultra Liberal twist with little to no regard for Conservative value and that is what's so dangerous for the States Political Culture with respect to its future development, growth and potential. This will have future negative fallout in California's Economy, given the Ultra Liberal passion for unwisely throwing good money after bad ideas. So, I'm looking at this from a soon to be downrange standpoint and what I see on the horizon is not truly progressive for a State that claims itself to be the most progressive State in the union.

I've been awake for a long time in California. I'm just frustrated and expressing my pain right now. I'm in pain right now, because I see where this State is headed and it hurts. This is my Home and I don't like seeing it transformed in certain ways. Again, it has nothing to do with racial make-up. It has everything to do with this Personal Attitude of Entitlement that I've witnessed growing over the decades in this State. I'm not talking about Welfare, either. I'm talking about an attitude of Personal Entitlement that says, I can do whatever I want regardless of who it hurts, who it inconveniences or how much is degrades and destabilizes the fabric of society. I'm all about Freedom. However, Freedom is tempered with Responsibility for the outcomes you produce in life.

This generation of Californian's seem to be all about finding creative ways to dish off their personal responsibility to someone else or something else other than themselves. There is also the definite and distinct California Attitude of Selfishness and Disregard for others that I really don't like. That is massive growing concern here in California, and I see it spreading like Wildfire nearly everywhere I go in Northern California. That's not how I grew up. I grew up with a different protocol that nobody gets left behind. I'm sick of the selfishness here. Irritating as hell, people going through life caring about nothing but themselves. It is disgusting. What's the point of living if its all about "You" 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and 366 leap year.

California, has also become Home of the Hater. We hate in California, like few places on earth can. For some reason, haters love this place. Little haters running around California, hating on everything they can lay their eyes on. Don't drive a nice vehicle in California, you will be hated for it. Don't live in a nice house in California, you will be hated for it. Don't be successful and have a lot of money in California, you will be truly hated. Hater Nation is what many parts of California, has become over the decades. It did not use to be this way here.

Like I said, there are some spots out here that are doing reasonably well on this matters, but they are shrinking in demographic each year.

What about Bellevue, Washington? I would never Open Carry, but I understand that Open Carry is legal in Washington, and CCW/CPL is "Shall Issue." Bellevue, though next to Seattle, is still outside Seattle and you don't have to go there is you don't want to as downtown Bellevue appears (at least on my initial scan) to be a robust enough City, to meet most needs (shopping, dining, socializing, etc.) when you need it. I'm just tired of NoCal. I'm burnt out. Absolutely, no pund intended. Maybe that was the goal. Burn people out. Get people sick and tired of the smoke and evacuations. What the hell, I don't know.

    Seahawks
    Wizards
    Mariners
    Huskies
    Storm
    Defiance
    Seawolves

Certainly enough sports to go around and an NHL team to be officially named soon that will host in 2021. The CPL "Shall Issue" is enough reason all by itself, geepers.

I've been hearing that about Coloradans for several years now. They just don't want incoming from California. Colorado, has a growing crime problem which appears to be anchored (so to speak) out of Denver, like a hub and spoke system:

    Source: https://www.denverpost.com/2019/10/25/aurora-police-andrew-huff-elijah-mcclain/

    Washington State Crime:

Out of the 734 people shot by police in 2019, within the United States, 25 of them were in Washington State. 25 males and 0 females involved. 4 Whites, 5 Blacks, 7 Hispanics, 3 Other and 6 Unknown (I have no earthly idea what the difference is between "Other" and "Unknown"). Of those shootings by police in WA, 1 was under 18 years of age, 9 were between ages of 18-29 years old, 10 between 30-34 years old, 5 were age 45+. Allegedly, of those shot by police, 8 had guns, 10 had knives, 2 had toys formed to look like weapons, 2 were unarmed and 3 shootings by police were claimed as something of unknown origin in the hands of the person being shot. In the 25 shootings there were 3 bodycams involved and very oddly in 22 of those shootings, whether a bodycam was involve or not remains "unknown" (bizarre.) 3 shootings took place as the persons being shot were fleeing the scene in a vehicle, 3 fleeing the scene on foot, 17 not fleeing the scene at all and 2 the police claim they cannot determine whether the people they shot were fleeing the scene or not.

    Colorado State Crime:

24 of the 734 in 2019, were shot by police in Colorado. 23 males and 1 female. 5 Whites, 4 Blacks, 9 Hispanics and 6 Unknowns. 9 between 18-29 years of age, 8 between 30-34 and 7 were 45+. 14 guns, 4 knives, 1 vehicle (I assumed the police claimed it was being used as a "weapon" by the person they shot, 2 were unarmed and Washington State police claim that they don't know if 2 more were armed or not. 1 bodycam involved and 23 instances were the police either did not have or don't know if a bodycam was involved (again, bizarre). 6 were fleeing by vehicle, 5 on foot, 12 were not fleeing the scene and they don't know whether 1 other was fleeing the scene at all.

Seems like the Denver Post and Washington Post disagree on 1 of the Colorado shootings that ended in the death of the person being shot by police. Somebody did not do their homework apparently. Bottom line, when you do more research on these police involved shootings, you don't find much evidence that those being shot were transplants from states outside Colorado. That was the broader point. A lot of these shootings, in both Washington State and Colorado, seem to have homegrown roots. I used Washington State as comparable, as I'm seriously considering it as a new home away from California.

    California Crime:

102 people shot by police in 2019, thus far. 96 Male, 5 Female and...wait for it.... wait for it... wait for it......... 1 Unknown. 21 White, 15 Black, 34 Hispanic (damn), 6 "Other" and 25 "Unknown." I guess we have some real "Aliens" in California, such that we don't even know their Ethnicity (bizarre - just freaking bizarre). 1 under 18 years of age, 25 were 18-29, 29 were 30-44, 26 were 45+ and 21 were unknown as to age. 15 had prior mental status while 87 did not. 50 had guns (LOL! I'm not laughing at the fact they got shot. I'm laughing at how California's highly restrictive gun laws did nothing to blunt these comparative stats relative to other states with far fewer guns laws). 18 had knives, 5 used a vehicle as a potential deadly weapon, 2 had toys fashioned to look like weapons, 6 were unarmed, they don't know of 11 were armed or not at the time and 10 people shot by police in California, were classified as "unknown" for having a weapon. 16 bodycams involved and in 86 instances the police claim they don't know or don't have bodycam footage of the shooting. 17 fleeing by vehicle, 13 on foot, 60 not fleeing at all, they don't know or can't tell if 11 others were fleeing or not and 1 is classified as "Other" for fleeing the scene.

So, yeah. I need to get out of California, for sure - based on the empirical evidence alone.

Is it not interesting that the State touting itself as the most Progressive, is also among the states with some of the worst criminal trends in the Union? 300% more police shootings in California, than in Colorado and Washington State. 100% more combined. On average, if you are a White Male over 30 years of age with either gun or knife in your hands upon initial contact and you stand your ground without attempting to flee the scene, your chances of getting shot by the police are higher than Blacks, but significantly lower than Hispanics and Others.

If you are an Hispanic Male between 18 to 45 (geepers!) under these same set of circumstances, you stand the highest potential for being shot at by the police - hands down. No pund intended.

Being a Black Male, Washington State is starting to look real good right about now. Hilarious! Well, actually the substance of the post is clearly not hilarious - but you get my point, I'm sure.
