I'm saying 18 months for a Sunni take over. 2 weeks before the torture chambers and mass graves re-open for business.

In this economy where we gonna find jobs for the returning troops and what's gonna happen in Iraq once we're gone?...

US Troops Leave Iraq with Job Concerns
Thursday 15th December, 2011 - For American troops leaving Iraq this month, there is a sense of relief but also worry about returning to civilian life and searching for jobs in a weak U.S. economy. U.S. troops along the Iraq-Kuwait border, where thousands have been transiting on their way home are wondering about their future.

Iraq was a fiction from the start. The start being the 1920s or, if you like, the earlier Ottoman Empire.

What you will see is a Kurdistan (which will annoy the Turks), Greater Iran (which will annoy the Yanks) and a Sunni residue (which will annoy the Iranians but vaguely please the Saudis).

Of course, with all that oil at stake, it won't be a pretty process.

Ummm, you seem to know nothing about the make up of Iraq. The Sunnis are a minority, and pretty much out of power. Shiites pretty much control the military, security forces, and the government. Nevermind the fact that Iran is waiting to fill the void once we leave.

So other than pure ignorance on your part, what motivated you to create such a stupid thread.

I'm sorry, Scooter, but your kind of ignorance is the kind that got us into the quagmire in the first place. I'd bet you thought the Iraqis were going to welcome us with carpets of flowers, eh?

Saddam was a Sunni and he had the power. Do you suppose that the Sunnis are not going to want that power back? Or that they are not armed to the gills? Or that they are EVER going to submit to Shia control? LMFAO. At you.

I don't think so.. There are some seven international oil companies working on fee for service.

Iraq will likely prosper and boost production to 7-8,000 barrels per day.. Oil companies HATE strife. Its in Iraq's interest to be copacetic.

How you relate my calling out your stupidity on this subject too me some how being responsible for us going to war in Iraq, is beyond me.

Oh, wait you've been talking caught talking out of your ass again, so you feel the need to deflect.

Who cares if Sunnis want power back, the fact is they can't take it back. There is a Shia dominated government, that controls the military and security forces, plus the fact that they will be backed by Iran.

Sit down, and let adults talk about subjects like this.

The torture chambers never closed, just under new management that's all.
