Dr. Sunetra Gupta of Oxford University describes the onslaught she received for coming out against lockdowns and for her endorsement of the Great Barrington Declaration.

    Link >>> https://gbdeclaration.org/

Here is a list of scientists who have signed on to the Great Barrington Declaration:

Those who constantly claim that "the science" favors lockdowns are ignorantly and maliciously spewing falsehoods.

There has NEVER been sound scientific evidence in favor of lockdowns, which is why they've NEVER been tried before 2020.

It's why Sweden and Japan did not lock down their societies, because their public health officials refused to accept the authoritarian junk science on which lockdowns are based.

By the way, Sweden has completely avoided the second wave of COVID death sweeping across Europe. See for yourself...

Sweden. No lockdowns, no masks, doing fine.

Naturally, the hysterical types who fell for the scam-demic and accepted unscientific lockdowns will never, ever admit that they are wrong. They will continue to ignore all the evidence proving them wrong and they will continue causing severe harm to society. It's on reasonable people to reject this insanity and to return to normal living. In the end, even the hysterics will be grateful that adults put an end to this self-destructive, futile madness.

Watching the right-wing become the party of fake news this past year has not at all been enjoyable. I wish it would stop.

Sweden is having a second wave, and they are showing no interest in doing that again...

Would you please explain how lockdown forces the " poorest and most vulnerable people to bear the brunt of the fight against coronavirus. "? unless the "poorest and most vulnerable" are the young and healthy.

It appears to me that the good doctor has decided to just blatantly reverse how her "shielding" plan would actually work. The old and chronically ill would be forced to stay at home and take their chances while the young and healthy would be able to do whatever they please in the full knowledge that the only ones really being put at risk by their behavior would be their elders and chronically sick friends.

But hey, "**** em their old". Right?

I wonder how Dr Ganeptra squares this with her Hippocratic Oath, or how anyone supporting her can sleep at night.

Sunetra Gupta is experiencing what George Orwell described in the last century, that in a time of universal deception, speaking the truth is a radical act.

Emphasis on universal deception. That is what plandemic is all about--deception and fear mongering to achieve political goals.

The facts about Sweden and Japan are utterly suppressed by the mainstream media, but they are still facts.

The minds and perceptions of the masses have long been manipulated, but much of the masses have not a clue that they've been deceived and manipulated.

Will the masses come to their senses and revolt? Only time will tell. The perpetrators have a very strong grip on the situation.

If I were younger I would move to Sweden.

This story of Sunetra Gupta reminds me somehow of the words of George Bush at the UN in December 2001, complete with his own unique dyslexic grammar.

"Let us never tolerate outrageous conspiracy theories concerning the attacks of September 11; malicious lies that attempt to shift the blame away from the terrorists, themselves, away from the guilty."

Substitute "covid" for the 'attacks of September 11', and you have the identical spirit to what has been thrown at Sunetra Gupta and all the other whistleblowers in this covid matter.

Vilify the truth tellers and conscientious doctors who speak out.

I like to see a doctor stick to their area of expertise - medicine. They have no business messing with economic policy. Good for Dr. Gupta.

Yes, Sweden is a very "right wing" country...

Results speak for themselves, by the way.

I did, and I asked for an explanation.

Did YOU read it? Given the way Corona spreads and who is most vulnerable did the quoted part make sense to you? How?

More than a thousand cases on Thursday in this tiny country?

More apocryphal stories from the Right Wing. The facts say differently.

    It's pretty simple.

The healthy (the large majority of the global population) go about their normal lives while the vulnerable keep doing WHAT THEY'RE ALREADY DOING until herd immunity is achieved. Once herd immunity is achieved, the vulnerable will be at far less risk.

I don't know what you find so confusing about that.

Look, the evidence is staring you right in the face...

You keep talking about "cases" when the vast majority of them are asymptotic, mild, or a false positive.

DEATHS, which is the most important metric, are WAY DOWN in Sweden and have been FOR MONTHS.

There is no "second wave" OF DEATHS in Sweden, just meaningless "cases".

Meanwhile, countries that locked down and embraced masks fully (like Belgium, for example) are experiencing a spike in cases AND deaths.

Feel free to explain why if lockdowns and masks work so well, Belgium is experiencing a spike in deaths while Sweden is not.

    a. so what the vulnerable should do is stay at home, have everything delivered, and catch the virus anyway when they're forced to go out into a far more infectious environment.
    b. while the rest of you go your merry way creating a world where the vulnerable are practically guaranteed to die much sooner than they might anyway, and this is even after the "herd immunity" is achieved.
    c. and all this is just about totally avoidable if you're willing to undergo a relatively short period of total lockdowns and endure a thorough regimen of testing and tracing as is being proven every day by S Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand etc. etc.
    d. Achieving this largely mythical "herd immunity" won't protect one single person who might get the disease but it will make it largely impossible to totally eradicate it, even after a vaccine is developed. Congratulations, you have unnecessarily added a very virulent and deadly disease to the human contagions and reduced the human lifespan considerably but you were still able to go bowling this winter.

I think this "chart" qualifies the "cherry-picked" statistic award for this month!

Comparing the public socially-connectedness between Sweden and Belgium is ridiculous.

    https://www.makemytrip.com/blog/sweden-vs-belgium

While in Belgium, the legal prostitution and drugs and non-stop sex parties at even regular night clubs, NO European city compares, much less the quiet and external pursuits of Sweden!

Comparing these two countries for infections is ridiculous.

    Doing fine?

    upload_2020-11-12_6-42-38.png

New cases are skyrocketing in Sweden. Deaths follow cases with a lag of weeks, so they'll get their comeuppance soon. They already curbed sales of alcohol after 10 pm. Other measures will follow, if people keep acting irresponsibly.

Perhaps it's not that it's confusing, it's that it is threatening to the worldview he holds?
