It's that time of year again, friends, family and co-workers gather for the traditional feast.

Do you love it or hate it?

Do you have any good recipes to share?

Do you have any tips/tricks for making the day go smoother? (I.E. stuff you can cook ahead of time and just reheat)

What kind of odd/different dishes do you serve in your little group?

    Happy Holidays.

I just filled out my order form for Thanksgiving dinner from a local home cooking restaurant. Ordered turkey, ham, dressing, candied yams, turnip greens, cornbread, giblet gravy, pumpkin pie, peach cobbler. I'll make a choc icebox pie and a relish tray... and have leftovers that'll last at least a week.

Might cook the dinner myself if I didnt work fulltime. Prob still wouldn't taste as good as theirs. ;)

Just confirmed for T-Day, looks like we're at twelve for dinner.

    Starting the shopping list now.

So far, this is the menu:

14-16 lb fresh roasted Tom turkey
    Mashed potatoes, with cream cheese
    Giblet gravy
    Apple-sausage stuffing (cooked separate)
    Roasted Brussels Sprouts
    Green bean casserole
    Cranberry salsa
    Dinner rolls
    various pies/sweets/cookies

    Can't wait to get started.
