It was explicitly a response to Rand Paul voting against some anti-lynching law. I'm not sure if it's fair or not - don't fully know the context of that law in modern terms. Rand Paul is one of the nuttier people in congress anyway, so he probably had some really stupid reason to vote against it that wasn't actually racist.

Dude filmed a noose. Put it around his own neck. These are the elements of what the left have screeched are hate crimes near and far throughout the country. And this candidate just did it to himself. As with so many of these hoax based hate crimes, this is what democrats do these days. Fake, put it on TV, get that out there, make references to other media, and suddenly, there's a story, magic like. No one gets to cover over this anymore. And mr Booker is the perpetrator of a hate crime against the rest of this nation. It is time we start holding these folks accountable for their hate.

You have no concept of context? He's black (and he was doing it to attack Paul over voting against some anti-lynching law). It's like them using the N-word. When they use it, it's a very dramatic display but no it's not the same as a white person doing it. It would seem inappropriately dramatic if Paul hadn't done something potentially racist, like vote against an anti-lynching law, but even then not the same as a white person doing it.

Nah, this is a race baiting hustler who committed a hate crime against the nation by filming his own "lynching". Laughable really. The depths of depravity democrats are willing to perform for the crowd.

I don't agree with hate crime laws, but I find it hard to believe you don't see the difference. Lynching was used to terrorize and murder black people. A white person holding up a noose is basically taunting the family of the victims, possibly even threatening them. A black person holding a noose up to themselves is trying to stir up emotions related to this horrible crime against their ancestors. If they have reason to think Paul is actually racist and actually voted against anti-lynching laws because he likes lynching or hates equal rights for black people, the ad would be appropriate. I suspect this is not the case, but I already expect political ads to be inappropriately provocative.

Tell them they can own one or the other. The “N” word or the noose, but you can’t have both.

LOL! Get a grip on reality. It was an attack on Rand Paul, who is a subhuman puke.

The only reason people like me have declared American dead, the reason there is no moving on, is there are so many people like you. I will gladly share a country with someone like Booker, but not someone like you.

I do see the difference which is why using the imaging in this context is so laughable race hustling. To the best knowledge of Google, the last lynching was over 40 years ago. And yup, democrats sure liked to use that terror to keep blacks in line back then. So it seems super disingenuous for mr Booker now to be leading the charge back into the history which frankly NEVER ever effected him, or frankly the majority of folks alive today. This reach back to the past is just that. And it's an affront to all of the social progress that has been made.

The startling fact here is that mr Booker actually committed a hate crime. Against himself. To make a useless point that doesn't remotely effect the community today. He has zero message on gang violence in the AA community. He has no message on illicit drugs or the human trafficking that his party supports across the nation that so devastate the black community in this nation.

So, he trades on cheap hate. He has little hope of winning his race, so I suppose that him making up stuff to hype himself is likely the only thing he has in life. It is just so immoral. So sad, of this one to have manufactured this horrible crime against the citizens of this nation.

How much have we lost because blacks so highly disproportionately refuse to get free education afforded them, engage in crime, have children outside of marriage and absent fathers, engage in drug and alcohol abuse. How much have taxpayers spent on the disproportionate welfare, public housing, health care and food programs, education programs, child care programs to African Americans? If you want to put price tags on things.

It is the cultural behaviors within the African American communities which hold so many back in this country. We have MILLIONS of highly successful African Americans in this country who became successful like every other successful person in this country. Nothing is holding back the opportunity to anyone.

They tried that. It turned out that neither blacks nor whites particularly cared for desegregation. That is normal, by the way. It is clear that humans prefer to stay with their own kind. They segregate themselves. Public education needs an overhaul everywhere in the nation. It is deplorable.
