He was accused of blasphemy for faking the burned Qur'an pages that he used to accuse the Christian girl -- falsely -- of blasphemy. But in his own trial the prosecution case broke down as all, not some but all, of the witnesses withdrew their accusations. Could they have been pressured in some way? I know it is hard to believe that in the Pure Land itself, in an upright Islamic Republic like Pakistan, that an imam could flout justice, as people would not dare to draw the wrath of Allah by prosecuting him for doing nothing but persecute a filthy kaffir, but here it is. "Pakistani imam acquitted of blasphemy," from AGI, August 18 http://www.agi.it/english-version/w...ren1002-pakistani_imam_acquitted_of_blasphemy
The story of the Imam framing the girl reminds me of the Bible story of Susanna where the high priests framed up Susanna for adultery and were dragging her down the road to be stoned when the Prophet Daniel said to them, "This woman's blood won't be on my hands." They asked him what he meant. He told them to return to the place of judgement and to let him cross examine the 2 high priests. Daniel cross examined them seperately and uncovered their perjury. The high priests got stoned instead of Susanna. Daniel 13 in the Duoay Bible. Most King James Bibles have had stories like this one removed since about 1830.
The story of the Imam framing the girl reminds me of the problems we have with Muslims in UK. Fanatic Muslim imams should be expelled from Europe back to their evil places in Arab countries. Even if they are legal !!
