    I've lived all over the place in this country and have never seen men who hate women. Do you live in a Muslim country or south of the American border, because that might explain your post.

    Patriarchy is a real thing, but like 'institutional racism' and 'capitalist greed', the vast majority of regular people have absolutely nothing to do with it.

    Masculinity isn't toxic. Being a dick is usually toxic and people can be masculine without being a dick. The problem is the agenda to erase masculinity by conflating it with being a dick. Just like how being prosperous is conflated with taking advantage of other people to demonize capitalism and being white is conflated with racism to divide ethnicities.

    The last statement related to the "trans women in sports" debate is a good example of transmisogyny.

    It operates under the assumption that:
    1. trans women are men (transphobia) and

    2. men are inherently stronger/better at sports than women (misogyny)
    These two things morph into one thing, which is "trans women are men who are bad at sports who want to play in women's sports to steal all the glory from "real" women."

    The argument that trans-women shouldn’t participate in women’s sports is based on unfair advantage. What unfair advantage do trans-women possess for beauty pageants? It’s more about perpetuating harmful stereotypes, undermining their gender identity, and contributing to the marginalization of trans women.

    Maybe some of the gymnastic things like the balance beam, that's all I can think of. Any sport that requires speed and strength will be dominated by men.

    Women don't like men to do gentlemanly things anymore, such as hold the door for them...... That's why I run along in front of them and do my best to hold the door shut and prevent their entry so that way when they fight me for the door and finally get in they know that they have done it by themselves and defeated the patriarchy.

    Hey FB, when a woman's car breaks down on the side of the road, how often do they try to flag down other women for help and how many actually stop and give them assistance? I'm sure it's happened, but how often?

    The only problem with "toxic masculinity" is the fact that the Progressive Left has hijacked the phrase to mean ANYTHING a man does, such as stating obvious facts, is considered such. It's common practice among many in holding that ideology.

    For example it's not "toxic masculinity" to state that men in general are stronger, faster, etc than women and anything to do with physical strength or endurance is going to favor men. Hence why there is never a story about a woman transitioning to a man then competing in mens sports and winning. It just doesn't happen in sports that require any sort of physicality. Meanwhile on the other hand....

    Perfect case in point that just happened, true story not making this up because this topic popped up. My girlfriend is strong as hell, shes stronger than most women and shes stronger than a lot of guys to be honest. She just competed in a power lifting competition this past week where she won the bench press and deadlift in the womens bracket. Her max deadlift that won her the event was literally HALF of what the max was for the men competing 20ft away from her. The men's max deadlift over there was 20lbs more than the womens WORLD RECORD deadlift. And these weren't professional power lifters, these were dudes from work competing in a fun friendly powerlifting competition put on by our job to kick off the summer.

    We joke about this all the time and she doesn't get offended because she understands REALITY. She will physically never be stronger than I am, it's biologically impossible. It's not "toxic" to state that fact. Also even though she is physically stronger than most women, and quite a few men actually, if ever there was an altercation between her and a man she wouldn't try to handle it but rather go get a man (me) to do so. Why? Because even in her case the average man would still do her real harm if he wanted to and getting into a physical altercation with a man would be a terrible idea.

    And she would have a real problem if we blew a tire driving down the road in the rain and I told her to get out and change it because I don't know how. She also hates it when I ask her what she would like to do today, or what she wants to watch, or what she wants to drink with dinner, etc. Her favorite phrase is "you're the man take charge and make a damn decision". Shes also foreign though so she hasn't been poisoned by Western feminism that believes men simply acting like normal men is somehow a bad thing or "toxic". "Omg she thinks he should be the head of the household and the relationship as the man how terrible this isn't 1950.."

    You have a good woman there and I'm sure she understands why there are different sports leagues for men and women - if there was only one universal league then women need not apply.

    I absolutely do, thank you. And yes she does understand why there are different leagues for men and women and shes actually way less politically correct than ever I attempt to be. "Your society is ****ing stupid" is about the nicest thing she utters whenever she sees a story about men whooping all the women in a sporting event lol. She also can't understand how a man could even be proud of himself and celebrate "winning" when he won against a bunch of women. She doesn't believe in the whole "transgender" thing at all though but that's a different topic.

    It's nice indeed though having a traditional feminine woman who can pick up heavy things. My brain to this day still has trouble watching this lovely woman roll up her sleeves and help me haul a fiberglass truck topper off my truck with ease (those things are heavy). Then the next moment tell me shes not touching tools to hand them to me while I'm trying to change the oil on the cars because "they have grime on them and I just got my nails done and that's man's job". lol.

    Crazy mind blowing concept, men and women are different and have different roles in her eyes. How horrific.
