Yippee..More face time on the nit- works..exposure..I told you sheep a long time ago be careful for what you wish..

    http://matzav.com/ron-paul-says-michele-bachmann-‘hates-muslims’

Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul took some strong digs at his fellow candidates Friday, saying Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann “hates Muslims” and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum doesn’t like “gay people and Muslims.”

Paul made his comments on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” when the host asked him for his take on the other GOP contenders in the field.

On Bachmann, the Texas congressman said: “She doesn’t like Muslims, she hates Muslims, she wants to go get them.”

“Wow, okay, that’s not good,” Leno said.

The rest of Paul’s evaluations were decidedly tamer. On Mitt Romney, Paul simply said, “He used to be governor of Massachusetts.”

    End.

Give a un tested politician enough rope and they will cut their own lifeline from the raft as it drifts away.

The more Paul says..the more un Presidential he sounds..
He may be right on some issues..but the way he sells it defeats him.
If the Republican party was to nominate him..people would leave his raft swimming to any light in the distance.
So where is the anti negative Paul we were all told was the difference ?

He attacked hard and fast In IOWA..and he can expect return fire.

Sounds like he hit pretty hard on the nail actually. In my opinion (and I consider myself a strong conservative) Michele Bachman is a pretty hateful bigot who seems to favor white, christian, heterosexual supremacy.

This is one of the things that just seems to go over your head about Ron Paul.

The fact he does not sound 'Presidential' is EXACTLY one of the things more and more people like about him.

Check the latest polls on people's faith in their politicians?

    Low and going lower.

People are becoming completely SICK of politicians.

They want leaders and people who have the courage to speak their mind, are honest and have common sense - not know how to 'play politics'.

Nice deflection by the Paul TEAM..
The deflection still doesnt mask the hardness of a cranky old man against other Republicans.. ( :-D )

You would like him if he said all people over 50 should be given free pot..

Cranky? He looked like he was having a great time and the crowd was loving him. After that Joe Rogan can out with a Ron Paul T-shirt.

I'd say that's a less cranky atmosphere than a bunch of dry old men threatening to nuke Iran.

    My thoughts as well.

    Cranky?

    Hardly.

Not free, but a senior citizen's discount would be nice. Maybe AARP will offer some sort of program if Paul gets elected.

Lighten up, BillyBoy. RP was great on the Leno show and you know it.

I heard that his very negative TV ad he ran in Iowa wasn't appreciated by the
average Iowa voter. They don't like that New York city style of
    Anthony Weiner smear.

We all know what cranky old men look like.. a lot like Paul off camera.
Look at your own family..look at Paul..
They can be funny at times..mean and spiteful at others..and shouldn't be given the power to run a Nation...much less drive a car at night.

He's certainly not funny or even fit to be President to a great many people.
We all love them in our own family 'cause they're ours.

    Paul is not mine.

Cranky? He seems rather soft-spoken to me.

Just so long as it wasn't tax-funded pot. Maybe if they gave it to Congress, they'd be more relaxed and not so eager to massacre Persians.

Most soft spoken old farts are on pot..or need to go pretty soon.:)

I prefer Paul's image to the others. What's you're hang up with pot? Do you ever drink alcohol? Or caffeine?

I actually like Paul's honest and straight replies.

    He said what he thinks.

    That will only help him.

So what someone stands for means nothing to you...just their image?

    Noted.

Anyways, my take on the interview, is Dr. Paul got to speak his mind on the Jay Leno show... How cool is that!!! then to have JOE ROGAN Wear a Dr. Paul Shirt, sitting next to the Doctor himself. GREAT EXPOSURE!!!

Even if the OP here took the Bachmann comment offensively, its public opinion what he said. Dr. Paul listens to the people... Thats electability...

It's said Rick Perry's biggest fault is not sounding 'presidential' too... yet he has a list of successes as long as your arm.

Paul's biggest problem is that he's been in congress for 27 yrs, off & on, and never once accomplished anything. Ever heard of a 'Paul Bill' being discussed? No, and you never will. He's another 'talker' when what we need is a 'doer.'

The OP's right. The more Paul talks, the more he turns people off. Statements like he made against Bachmann are both nonproductive and unproveable. He's going off the deep end if his performance at the debates is any indication of his mental stability

LOL. Meanwhile, back on earth, more people are warming up to Dr. Paul. I could offer evidence, but like FOX News, you would just dismiss it as false...

So, you pretty much have nothing on Ron Paul, except idiotic rants about him being old?

Wow, way to waste space on PF.

    Good job.

    LOL.

I saw this live and I was amused by his answers.

For Santorum I said EXACTLY the same thing as him.

The guy really has a thing against Muslims and gays.
