What? My response was to your "violations of state election law", not audits.

Except the Supreme Court would never allow legislatures to control the slate of electors that's up to the voters.

In theory yes, but I don't trust anyone that Trump appointed.

Why are right wingers trying to overthrow a fair and free democratic election? This will go nowhere!

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...state-legislators-choose-electors/6204171002/

“In July, the Supreme Court unanimously ruled states can require members of the Electoral College to vote for the winner of the popular vote. It upheld existing laws in 32 states by doing so, USA TODAY reported.

Lessig said the ruling also sheds light on restrictions placed upon state legislatures.

"For the same reason that electors have no power today, legislatures could not have the power to appoint a slate of electors that was contrary to the vote of the people." Lessig said.

It is true the Constitution grants state legislatures the power to choose electors for the Electoral College. But it is false to suggest, as Levin does, that legislatures retain this authority after a popular vote on Election Day. A "safe harbor" provision of the Electoral Count Act dictates changing the slate of electors after election day is a violation of federal law.”

Barr also stated there was absolutely zero evidence of fraud. So how soon before Trump says Barr is a part of the deep state?

I think the consequences of stealing an election for Trump would be to create outrage. protests and riots. I'm not sure if the Supreme Court would violate all the rules to face completely angry, riotous voters across the country. It the court is that activist they will be the cause of a civil war. I don't think they're up to it.
Kavanaugh and Gorsuch ruled against Trump in the past. ..

Accepting ballots contrary to state law is not fraud, just unconstitutional

The constitution grants them sole authority

A little audit will fix this for you if all the ballots are legit as you propose

Why would Republicans want to help Democrats? I keep seeing this stupid argument floating around like it’s supposed to make sense.

    Yeah? And, so what?

    Almost all states require that:
The Candidate Winning Popular Vote have their slate of Electors certified.

^THAT is the "sole authority" (which the state legislature used to pass the law that legislated the above).

Sorry the state legislature cannot overturn the voters will to have electors vote for Biden and it won't happen. Of course reality was never your strong suite.

If there is so much evidence, why does Barr say there isn’t any?

To date. The FBI only requested information of the hard numbers the day before.

Why are Trump appointed judges and republican governors saying there's no fraud, then?

The PA legislature ended their session on Monday. This was a stupid publicity stunt that was over before you made this thread.

So you are saying there has been tons of hard evidence out there for weeks, and it keeps piling up, but the DOJ hasn’t found any “to date”? Do you think someone has been hiding this evidence from the DOJ? Or do you think they will completely change their story in a couple of days?

Evidence like this that needs to be investigated.

So what do you think will happen after the DOJ has had a chance to review the evidence? Do you think they will change their mind?

It’s a rhetorical question because the fact is that they have had the opportunity to review the evidence. If there was anything to these claims, the DOJ would have been all over it. They would have made multiple arrests by now. Fraud on the scale you people are claiming doesn’t just happen. It would have to be perpetrated by real live human beings. The people who tampered with machines. The people who drives trucks full of ballots to counting places. The people who accepted those ballots off the trucks.

Yet there is not a single person under investigation, let alone arrested or charged.

The trumpster narrative seems to be that this supposed fraud just “happened”.

There has to be an investigation started first.
