It allows you to use logic to deduce that if the Mayo Clinic found that having been molested as a child is signficantly predictive of your growing up to be a molestor, added to the "epidemic" the CDC found when polling 3,000 gay men of their having been molested as children, to give you the preditive knowledge that if you're hiring a babysitter for your boys, you might want to give a gay man the pass. Deductive reasoning. You can google it if it doesn't come naturally to you..

 

One more time, where does your source say that people become gay because of child abuse? It's still not there. BTW- I did plenty of babysitting, and still do for my nieces and nephews. I have never felt the need to abuse them sexually or otherwise. Now, why might that be?
