I am watching what Pelosi views as nazis and other liberals describe as terrorists, at least that's what they called the Tea Party. Pathetic hypocrites

At an event in Portsmouth, New Hampshire Thursday, a mother urged her son to ask Gov. Rick Perry (R-Tex.) about evolution. Just feet away, as protestors told Perry to "keep his hands off their Medicare."

Did she have the guts to ask him?

Why aren't they heckling Obama, he is the one who was taking money out of Medicare?

Surely the American doctors have been making huge money for years out of hiking up prices and letting the poor die? You spend vastly more than any other country and get rubbish cover for it. Mugs!

Most doctors aren't "rich". Most of them wouldn't even get caught up in President Obama's plan to raise taxes on individuals with incomes over $200k. I don't know how it got started, but it's a huge misconception. Do doctors make a comfortable living? Sure they do, but most aren't "rich".

Asking him what his thoughts about evolution are is so out of line, especially when he responds by claiming they teach creationism in public schools.

Perry should have to respond about evolution. Its only right to see if he actually acknowledges science.

Evolution is trick question for all the candidates. They likely believe in it but have to weigh losing a portion of the Republican base if they acknowledge it, because many see it as incompatible with their religious doctrine and will then view the candidate as "Not Christian enough"....

Perry and all the other candidates will avoid answering this question for as long as possible.....

I don't think Perry has avoided the question.

He believes in Intelligent Design and says so.

The thing that moderates do not understand about the Republicans is that they have members on both sides of the issue who all agree that Obama is the worst thing that has happened to this country since Jimmy Carter.

Saying you believe in intelligent design is not the same as answering "Yes" or "No" to evolution is it?

Regardless of your opinions or beliefs on evolution or creationism, was I the only one that thought it was stupid that the mom was using her child as a conduit to ask questions? Especially politically charged questions beyond the age of the child?
