"Who are you that the FBI should tell you things?" is actually "Who are the Congressional overseers and what the FBI should be telling them things?"

Earlier this month, an FBI whistleblower told the Washington Times the FBI identified the vehicle the suspect entered shortly after planting the bombs but has not pursued the individual.
“The FBI had surveillance video that showed the person entering a car with a visible license plate after exiting a Metro stop in Northern Virginia,” the Times reported.

A plainclothes Capitol cop found the DNC pipe bomb. The “passerby” has been that found it .... it was Capitol police officer... name to be revealed by the Blaze in the future.
Despite months of the FBI stonewalling congressional committees’ inquiries, they now know the identity of that individual — previously only identified as a “passerby.” Never brought up in the J6 committee... the FBI still pulling in people from a Google Geofence technology search used by the FBI 2 years later to identify all devices in a 4-acre area, including the Capitol and its immediate surroundings, between 2 pm and 6:30 pm on January 6.?.... but the "passerby" now coming out, and the FBI using the same Geofence technology can not find the original bomber...

Harris’ presence at the DNC building and in proximity to the alleged pipe bomb was not revealed for a full year.... In dozens of indictments, the Justice Department had erroneously described Harris as being present inside the Capitol during the attack and only recently discovered the error. DOJ has since issued numerous superseding indictments to correct the mistake.

• How did the Secret Service fail to find a bomb prior to their protectee’s arrival — a bomb that was seemingly purposefully placed the night before in a manner in which it was meant to be discovered?
• Why did operators in the Capitol Police Command Center deliberately redirect CCTV cameras away from the DNC pipe bomb investigation and detonation?
• Why did a Secret Service agent and MPD officer feel safe enough to finish their lunch before investigating the information about a bomb located only 15 feet away after a law enforcement officer revealed its location to them?
• Was the DNC pipe bomb really a “viable” device, despite never-before-seen video evidence to the contrary?

Wearing dark clothes and a backpack, the individual can be seen in a video posted on Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie’s YouTube channel, first speaking to an officer on the driver’s side of the patrol car. He then casually walks around to the car’s passenger side window, where he leans in to chat for several seconds. The SUV was parked only about 15-20 feet from the location of the alleged bomb.

At 1:05 p.m. on January 6, the then-unidentified person casually approached a D.C. Metropolitan Police vehicle parked in the DNC’s parking ramp driveway near South Capitol St., reportedly to inform police officers that he’d seen what appeared to be a pipe bomb.

The first pipe bomb was discovered at 12:40 p.m..... an one hour egg timer (and the bomb being planted the night before).... that was stopped at the 20 minute mark..... that was 20 minutes before the 1:00 certification started in Congress. hhhhmmm.

We were able to show definitively not only that the surveillance footage had been tampered with, given that its frame rate of 1.6 frames per second is vastly below the industry minimum, but we were able to show definitively that the FBI is in possession of it, but for whatever reason they chose not to make public surveillance footage that would make it clear whether the pipe bomb suspect planted the bomb when they said he or she did.

It's odd that neither the FBI, Capital Police, Secret Service, members of Congress or the media seem to be in any hurry to solve this.

Mr. D’Antuono was in charge of the Washington DC FBI office from 2019 (just before J6 2021) until November of 2022. He was in charge of the agents who were conducting the J6 pipe bomb investigation. Previously he was the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI office in Michigan.

A one hour kitchen timer on a bomb allegedly placed 17 hours earlier. How could that be operable? Could the detonator even function? Did it contain explosives? Remarkable timing of discovery.

Seems like that would be the basis of an appeal but I think if any defendants tried to appeal they would suddenly find a whole slew of new charges.
