Pizza has converted me to faith in god..

I'm a pizza fanatic and I make incredible homemade pizzas..
I was trying out a new pizza dough recipe ( huge rehydration factor of water to flour) and out of the blue I prayed to god to make this the best pizza ever..It turned out to be the best pizza I've ever made at home or eaten at a pizzeria and to top it off I could swear I saw a image of jesus outlined around the mozzarella and pepperoni..
is this god telling me something or just plain luck???

And both garlic bread and marinara sauce go good with pizza (in my opinion, anyways)...

I don't think CK is joking, most of the other atheists clearly are.

I have always recommended that atheists, wanting proof of God, ask God for proof. You will get it, in a time and place of God's choosing, but you will get it in a way that makes sense to you. It doesn't have to make sense to any other, that's not the point of the 'proof'.

If perfect pizza jolts CK into realization, the better question is ... what now?

okay, I'll admit it..I'll pulling a fast one here..just don't pull my finger..I'm not trying to belittle anyone..
sometimes the power of prayer works even if yur a non believer like me..
it's the roll of the dice..
however I'm very sincere about my pizza skills..I've made thousands over a period of 25 years and as silly as this may sound it's a science..there's hundreds of variables just like in religious beliefs..

Doesn't pulling a fast one involve being....fast? I didn't even read your post, just your title and I knew what you were going to go on about. The reality is if you stop trolling Christians and face God yourself and do like Neutral said and ask for proof, He will show you to the point where you will know without a shadow of a doubt, and you'll know what you're rejecting if you still ignore it. Maybe this is God's way of getting through to you. thinking you're fooling His believers only to find out, eventually, it was yourself all along you had going for a ride.

 

it depends on your interpretation of fast..at my age it might be a lot slower for you..
and I'm not trolling..the reality is I'm trying to give awareness..
do your prayers get answered 100% of the time?..of coarse not..
as for me ever finding out..?? I prefer not knowing..
having been brainwashed by a christian dad I'll pray something like " please dear god, make this pizza dough rise" but if it does I know it's because the yeast is working not because some divine spirit made it happen..

 

Perhaps in "praying" you put more energy and focus into your cooking and that was why.

prayer only works on things within your control, it is much like meditation.

you can tap into god for inspiration and that may give you greater focus and energy.
