So, she tried to reason with him. He was the one angry at her when presumably knocked on the door. Everything you just posted says she was rational and civilized, which means she is going to go against whatever stereotype you are attempting to imply here and did not think this through. Notice she did not use any antisemitic statements either. And when said “Let’s give peace a chance,” the landlord attacked her. Again, the guy and you are listening to RW media which typically stereotype groups of people to get their base fuming unnecessarily by using irrational arguments and fear.

Wtf are you talking about? I’m not talking about any stereotype. Other than some ******* who leaves her baby out there to die and listen to him get stabbed over and over again. But I don’t really think that’s a stereotype of any sort it’s just a selfish *******.

nope. Anger manifests itself from fear or vice versa. There was no reason to be fearful of the mother or child since they live here and pretty much lived a normal life in America.

I don't think it makes any sense to blame the mother. The guy was a murderous political psycho, and clearly she was no match to him.

Why are you speaking as if I’m justifying him stabbing them?

No, and nothing you posted so far indicates that. You attempt to blame her for her child's death is truly disgusting in this thread and at the same time minimizing what the landlord did.

I don’t disagree with any of that. However what I’m saying is…. Have you ever heard someone being stabbed over and over again? I have (not 26 freaking times I couldn’t even imagine what that must have sounded like) and it’s ****ing brutal just to hear. You can’t ever get it out of your head. And I didn’t even know that person.

Are you gonna sit there in a locked room protecting yourself while you listen to your 6 year old boy screaming for mama or daddy and you refuse to come out of the other room? I’m not. If that just sounds like bravado it’s not. I just had a baby. And the idea I would listen to him get stabbed in the next room 26 times to protect myself is excessively abhorrent to me.

Well, you ARE blaming the mother, and no the killer, and it sounds pretty weird.

Also, we don't know what she heard, or didn't hear.

Yes, i have plenty of times. First, stabbing can be a quick repetitive motion. Second, both she and the boy were stabbed with her first in all likelihood. It was serious enough that the ONLY thing to do was call 911 and she went into survival mode much like what people do when they hear gunshots like at the Allen Mall or more recently, at the State Fair of Texas. In other words, she was quite literally bleeding out, lost her strength to fight, and only to have enough strength to do what she did, survival mode. She is not a trained soldier or anything like that. And what you are describing is more or less romanticized in film, tv, and RW media. It's not the real world bucko.

I’m not blaming her for the death. He is solely to blame. I’m blaming her for her cowardice. In all honesty, her coming out of that room probably would have meant both of them die… although given he couldn’t even break down a bathroom door in a shitty little property he owned, I’m not sure how formidable of an opponent he would have been if she had grabbed something to fight back with…. But nevertheless she has a responsibility to go out there and save her child.

And this isn’t a new sentiment. Remember the guy in Pennsylvania that killed those college students? When it was found out that the roommate actually saw the killer and then locked herself in a bathroom, there were questions as to why she didn’t come out to help. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a 6 year olds mother to at least TRY to save her son.

No, the attacker is making this about Muslims. RW media are making this about Muslims. And you are alluding to that fact in every post and minimizing the attacker's actions at the same time. In an analogy, you are blaming the woman for getting raped simply because of the clothes she wore or the perfume she used. Geez.

As for the mother, she knew him. The guy built a treehouse for her son, and bought a small outdoor swimming pool for the boy to use, but his demeanor changed a week ago as he became more and more angry and believed she would call her Muslim friends to do something on him. And that is according to the attacker's wife.

I don't think she is a coward at all. Right now, she is surviving and healing from more than a dozen stab wounds. But i can reasonably guess that she believed her child was already dead or dying when she eventually made her way to the bathroom to call 911 and stop her own bleeding. But then again, maybe you are angry because she survived and thus making these posts of yours blaming her for her Child's death and not solely the attacker.

Lol you’re tryin hard to make my comments about her race and religion ain’t ya?

All I’m saying is she could have thrown herself on this guy and given her child just enough time to escape. But she didn’t even try.

Btw if I was trying to elude about their religion or race why would I give a **** if the little boy died? I’d just let it ride cause that one less of them in the world. But it doesn’t matter what race or religion you are, you should do everything you can to save your child and not yourself.

What kind of massive ******* chooses not to do so? But apparently there’s more of those than I realized.

If you need to keep weapons in every room of your house, seems you are afraid of everyone.

Are you certain about the timing of the events because if the child was already killed then your suggestion is moot let alone your judgement.

She was stabbed more than a dozen times! How do you even think she would have been capable of fighting back?

I take it you've never been stabbed before. I'm going to explain the sequence of events of what probably happened. The guy came over angry at her because she is Palestinian and Muslim. She lets him in because he is her landlord. They argue, she says "Let's give peace a chance," and he begins stabbing first, more than a dozen times, and probably she has both defensive wounds in her arms and/or hands and probably a few wounds in her upper shoulder and abdomen. The boy heard the screams of her mother and rushed to help. The attacker then turned his attention on the boy and stabbed him more than 2 dozen times. She was wounded, bleeding out, in shock, and so forth. So she did the only thing she could do, survive and maybe thought her son was dead or dying, knowing full well she was next again. Thus the bathroom, a short distance away, to stop the bleeding and call 911. We won't know exactly, but based on the available information, something is afoot on your part.

And yet you have the audacity to say she is a coward? Good god almighty, and spoken by a person who has no idea of reality.

Nowhere does it state in any story that her son was injured before she went to the bathroom. In fact it insinuates exactly the opposite. That the man attacked her almost immediately, she runs and locks herself in the room at which point he turns his attention onto the boy.

She COULD have thrown herself on the man and screamed to her boy to run out the door or climb out a window or whatever. Does she die? Probably but her son MIGHT live. Instead she runs into the bathroom leaving him out there as bait.

Oh I’m sure she was terrified.

I wonder how the 6 year old felt

You know what courage is? Most people think it’s being not afraid to do something. But it’s not. Courage is being terrified to death and doing it anyway.

I can't help but wonder what conservative talk radio show recommended the murder of muslims. Any ideas? No? Just misguided partisanship? I thought so.

I doubt anyone suggested people should literally target muslims in US, but there are some online tough guys, and talk show folks who thump their chests and say Gaza should be "turned to a parking lot", and ALL Palestinians are anti-semites, and terrorist supporters etc. Such language can trigger fringe / unstable people (like the maga-stabber) so see muslims as enemies who need to be dealt with.
