His comments about Biden were sort of open for movement. He clearly said he won't endorse Trump

It sickens me to see republicans defending gun grabbers. True gun rights advocates no longer have a home because of that liberal republican they call Trump

I’m going to complain about them both because mark my words Trump will do more gun grabs, send more people to jail/prison for a lawfully purchased item/items. He will like strengthen red flag laws and go after silencers. You’re *******n right I won’t vote for him and complain because it’s my rights all these people want to take away.

Trump is nothing more than another coastal city dweller that we have been getting as leaders for the past 3 decades.

I accept your opinion. But I for one will never vote for a gun grabber, specially one that does so by executive fiat and will not allow my representatives to have a say. Totally going by all manner of constitutional design. I’ll be damned if I ever vote for that.

From a policy standpoint the choice is easy. I prefer the country survive and not become a 3rd world hell hole.

Biden is no better than Trump as a character. Just as corrupt, not as loud. What’s worse about Biden is that his entire adult life hs been on OUR dime. So it’s decades of corruption. Trump just calls people mean names. Big whoops. He’s an idiot. They ALL are. All I care about is which idiot actually LIKES this country and wants it to prosper and which one is actively DESTROYING it!

Simple: We have a bad choice, or a worse choice. I suspect if Biden's machinations over the past 50-60 years weren't tightly guarded and hidden and were reported by a press that was more journalistic and less propaganda/left wing inflected there'd be a list just as long fro Biden - probably longer, AND, HE DID IT WHILE SERVING IN GOVERNMENT - allegedly a position of trust.

Trump on the whole in his public position did far more beneficial to the country. Lower taxes, booming economy, standing up to world powers when needed and resisting the "one world" government movement.

Biden? To the average American family he's been a disaster. Monstrous inflation, trillions spent out looney global warning myths, a laughing stock in diplomacy and a relentless need to control and dictate more and more facets of our life.

Trump is not the best candid we could find, but, he is the BETTER ONE.

The items in my comment tell me he should never, under any circumstances, be put anywhere near the Oval office.

Biden got the infrastructure bill passed and currently there are 44,000 infrastructure projects across America rebuilding America. He was able to do that because he is an experienced politician. Trump, without any experience, had no clue on how to do it, which is why, during his four years, although every other week or so was deemed 'infrastructure week' he was unable to get both houses, both of which he had control over, to get it done.

AS for 'shittier' you seem to be blaming everything on inflation, which messed things up for a lot of people, but you over look that fact that inflation is a monetary phenomenon. It was ultimately the result of the CARES act (Trump, $2 trillion) and the ARP program (Biden, $2 trillion) and, therefore, is bipartisan.

But Biden is getting inflation down, unemployment is at historic lows, and GDP is better than Trump;s, so you are not looking at the facts.

Weasel words are not an argument, or rather, not something I can engage with. May I suggest that you try and offer more substantiatable specifics?

    But you voted for him.

Your argument hinges on the perception that President Trump's resilience and defiance against opposition, specifically from what you describe as the left, exemplify unique leadership qualities that merit support. You suggest that any Republican leader would face similar challenges but argue that Trump's singular ability to withstand such pressure without compromising his stance is both rare and admirable.

However, this view overlooks several critical considerations. Firstly, the premise that the actions against Trump—such as the investigations, impeachments, and accusations—are unique to him or are solely motivated by partisan bias rather than concerns over legal or ethical violations is debatable. I would distinguish between legitimate legal and constitutional processes and partisan attacks. Dismissing all scrutiny as baseless attacks undermines the rule of law and the mechanisms designed to hold public officials accountable.

Secondly, the qualities you admire in Trump—his unwillingness to compromise, his confrontational approach—need to be evaluated in the context of effective governance and leadership. The ability to engage with opposing views, to compromise when necessary, and to unite rather than divide are also critical leadership qualities. Leadership requires more than just resilience to criticism; it requires the ability to build consensus, to govern effectively, and to uphold the principles of democracy and the rule of law. In point of fact, I can see only one major legislative accomplishment, his tax bill. Well, for Republicans, tax bills are slam dunks.

Moreover, equating unwavering defiance with strength overlooks the importance of adaptability, humility, and the ability to acknowledge and correct mistakes—qualities that are vital for any leader. The characterization of Trump as a fighter who "spits in your face and comes back swinging" may resonate with voters seeking a champion for their views, but it also raises questions about the nature of the leadership and the example it sets. In short, it's not a good quality for a president.

In evaluating Trump's candidacy, it's crucial to consider the broader implications of his leadership style, including its impact on political discourse, democratic norms, and national unity. While steadfastness in the face of opposition can be a virtue, it must be balanced with other qualities that contribute to effective leadership and governance.

Take another look at the OP, which points out his severe flaws, flaws which, in my view, indicate that he is not the kind of man who should be allowed anywhere near the highest office in the land.

He did not get us out of the war in Afghanistan, he, lacking courage, kicked the can to Biden.
If an improved statistic is the result of avoidable cruelty to children, that stat must be rejected. 2200 children are still permanently separated from their parents as the result of 'zero tolerance' and it's incompetence.

Now that you know the facts I present in the OP, are you still going to vote for him?

Avoidable cruelty to children, a Trump policy, is a policy I would despise.

The rhetoric of bigotry, by Trump, is despicable.

The rhetoric of violence, by Trump is to be held in contempt.

The rhetoric of convincing 65,000,000 people that Democrats stole the election, without evidence, is beyond reprehensible, it is a betrayal of Democracy.

His being responsible for the reversal of Roe has led to chaos and is out of touch with the desire of the electorate.

The man himself, is a despicable human being. Trump lacks any shred of human decency, humility or caring, is morally bankrupt, breathtakingly dishonest, lethally incompetent, and stunningly ignorant of virtually anything related to governing, history, geography, human events or world affairs, is a traitor and a malignancy to our nation, who represents a clear and present danger to our democracy and the rule of law and is likely to be a convicted felon soon.

That is who you are voting for, and a number of conservatives, who would otherwise support conservative policies you favor, voted for Biden for the above reasons.

your biased take on Trump's policies mean nothing to me. Biden is a turd, a senile one, controlled by evil disgusting globalists who want to destroy America. Trump's policies are far better for patriotic Americans, winners, producers and those who make America great. Biden, as a mouthpiece for people like Soros, pushes policies that hurt America, enable those who fail as well as violent criminals. No thanks

I never mentioned inflation. While its true that printing money to pay for that which we can't afford has accelerated more than ever under Biden, that has also been true for every president before him since the early 1900s. We will suffer for it eventually, and Biden will only be one of many (including Trump) to blame. Inflation is built into our system, a system designed to eventually fail.

The infrastructure bill is the result of scams. The scams are local and state govts nationwide prioritizing the financing of popular social programs that attract votes instead of spending tax dollars where they're supposed to be spent- on infrastructure. But people don't see infrastructure and so they dont vote for infrastructure. So local and state govts take money from it and put it where people will see it and where it can get politicians re-elected. Then they petition fedgov for emergency infrastructure bailouts. Now they know they can keep doing it, and fedgov will print more money to bail them out. Since you mentioned inflation ...inflation is now going to heap the cost of roads and sewers and fresh water onto the backs of those who can least afford it- those who live paycheck to paycheck affording only the essentials they need to live, while those with excess can merely excess a bit less and be relatively unaffected. I don't call that a victory.

And I also don't pretend Trump is likely to solve either of these problems. Vivek or RFK might have done some good in these areas (at least they both seem to be aware of these problems, unlike Trump or Biden). But neither of them have a shot because the 'never Trumpers' arent 'never Trumper enough' to vote for anything that isn't hyper-leftist-globalist-radical-corporate-authoritarian-progressive.

All Trump has to do is avoid restricting our fuel, cars, stoves, guns, speech, and mandating that we take experimental medicines, subsidize more illegal immigrants, pay higher taxes, pretend men with beards are 'women' or provocateuring more foreign wars. It won't make America 'great' again, but its a hellofalot better than what we'll get with Biden.

Ridiculous. Trump, on TV, encouraged Russia to attack an ally just because they didn't put up all the 2% of the GDP on their defense. No president in history would ever do that, unless he or she is a traitor. Years ago, I was a care giver to dementia patients, and Biden is no where near it and your characterization is false and reflective of your bias and lack of knowledge.

We get it, you hate Biden.
Biden's policies are a great win for America, he backs unions, he is for a livable minimum wage. They are about to build a chips factory in NY, soon, bringing this valuable technology back home (where we are now at the mercy of Taiwan, which could easily be taken over by China). This investment by Micron is the direct result of the CHIPS act by Biden. Currently, there are 44,000 infrastructure projects rebuilding America across America because of the infrastructure bill. Trump paid lip service to it but, even with the house and senate under his control, he couldn't get it done.

Trump NEVER accomplished SH*T except a lot of low hanging fruit that his underlings brought him to sign. He HYPES everything, like calling his cooperation accords as 'historic peace accords'. no, they are not peace accords, peace accords are between warring nations and take years to negotiate and none of the countries were at war with each other.. Trump doesn't have that kind of attention span. He'll do something that is easy and hype it to the max. Trump is a con man, a hypster, a flim flam man, and you've been conned.

Biden is for women's right to control their bodies on abortion. Trump said if congress sends him a national abortion ban, he will sign it. No way is that going to go over well with the electorate.

You guys are out of touch with the majority, and will be defeated.

trump is a moron and a national embarrassment. Every word that evacuates his lips beliles his utter stupidity. He lies incessantly. What do you expect for a Putin Puppet who fornicated with a porn star just after his newly wed wife gave birth.

More than we can afford? We couldn't afford not to, the pandemic greatly disrupted the economy and something had to be done, quickly. Both Trump (to his credit) and Biden (to his, as well) did just that.

FYI, historically speaking, it takes 6 months to a year for major quantitative easements (fiat currency infusions) to cause inflation. CARES was enacted at the end of Trump's presidency, and ARP was enacted shortly after Biden took over, which was too soon for inflation to occur under Trump, and inflation occurred soon after that, which was about right for the cumulative effect of both. So, to say 'accelerated more than ever after Biden' is misleading and not a fair statement.

I'll address your other points later.

Nixon did little wrong. He didn't authorize the break in of the Democratic Headquarters. He didn't even know it happened until one of his aids told him. His big crime is hiding that he was told about it and deleting the tape of that conversation.

If we elect Biden again and the old bastard should live for another four years.... The USA is going to start looking more like Mexico than Mexico does.
