Total! I can't think of a better path for Democrats to regain control of the House and obtain a super-majority in the Senate.

And THAT, boys and girls, is going to be the 15 second ad in which Republicans explain to the American people why they are impeaching Biden: "Go ask McCarthy". I'll take it! I smell four more years, a Democratic House and... maybe even a super majority in the Senate.

Legal cases are not generally reducible to an elevator pitch.

Yes we both totally agree that Joe Biden is guilty as sin and should be impeached and is certainly not fit to lead the country

This move by Weak Kev is just for Trump to be able to say on the campaign trail that Biden was impeached......it's so transparent it's typical Trump. "Look who's in the gutter with me"......

    The Title is flawed.
    1. This is an impeachment inquiry, not an impeachment.
    2. We are under no such 15 second constraint.
OLD AND BUSTED: “‘This is a pretty damning report,’ says Sen. Chuck Schumer about the GAO report that the Trump administration broke the law when it withheld US security aid to Ukraine last year that had been appropriated by Congress — an issue at the center of the impeachment of Pres. Trump.”

'The new hotness? Chuck Schumer Calls Impeachment Inquiry of Biden a Time and Money Wasting ‘Witch Hunt.’'

Did you know that Bribed Joe is now trailing The Trumpster in the RCP and he's 12 points behind where he was at, at this point in the 2024 cycle? Seems like this whole "let's rig the election by holding the indictments for 3 years and then loose a 100 charges on him to interfere with the election" is kinda blowing up on you.

In politics you HAVE to say what you want to say in 15 seconds.

Yep! And THIS time, it's going to be the Republican's problem. Because it's short attention span voters who decide the elections. Republicans usually do well with a "bumper sticker". This time around that wo

Wrong! It's been over FOUR years! This "inquiry" started even before Biden was the candidate. When Trump had the DOJ, the FBI, when he extorted Zelensky... when he unleashed his "Secret Weapon": Super Rudy!!!! You wouldn't believe what HE found! And yet, they STILL don't know what he is being accused of doing.

I could explain each one of Trump's impeachments AND show the evidence in less than 15 seconds even before ANYBODY in Congress had ever even mentioned impeachment.

This is a huge problem for the county, because it devalues impeachment. But it's a great talking point for Biden who will obliterate Trump in 15 second ads. It would be even worse if Trump accepted to debate. But he won't, of course.

I actually hope you are right but the media tries to do the both side (false) equivalence to exploit the drama eyeballs. The stakes are again to the roof for the republic.

I could also wheely my motorcycle at 90 miles an hour over a 5-in bridge support but I'm not going to and I bet you you're not going to do what you said you can do either

It's quite simple. For the first impeachment I already gave one possible version of a 15 second ad
    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...o-the-american-people.613531/#post-1074425883

For the second, it would be something like: "Abuse of power by pressuring the VP to perpetuate himself in the Presidency by staging an insurrection". Accentuated with images and audio everybody ALREADY saw on TV of Trump calling for the mob to take over the Capitol and then watching the insurrection while they shout "Hang Mike Pence!" doing NOTHING to stop it.

These are things people who follow politics are familiar with and watched way before there was any talk of "impeachment". But anybody who is not will have a pretty good idea of what the charges are and the type of evidence.

The investigation against Biden started way BEFORE Trump's first impeachment. In fact, the first impeachment was because of abuse of power in the course of that investigation. How is it possible that Democrats built cases and SUCCESFULLY impeached Trump TWICE before that.... but Republicans can't even show a basic 15 second ad?

that is not how investigations work with what the GOP is doing. They have their man. Now they are trying to find evidence to fit a crime for impeachment. We call this tunnel vision investigation. At least with Trump, you had an alleged crime, once with the Mueller Investigation, and one which was done on TV. And then they had the impeachment. Once impeached, then it went to the Senate for the full vote. In both cases, as with Clinton, not enough to remove. At the same time, you now have Trump's own impeachment memo to protect him that is now biting the GOP in the butt with Biden. Funny how things work out beyond one administration, don't they?

Not sufficient for the standard, no.
Cases are not reducible to an elevator pitch. Certainly not ones with fairly novel applications of legal theory.

No that investigation was halted when the Dems tried to impeach him for trying to investigate this obvious corruption. Nothing else started until the laptop came out during the campaign and their lies started to fall apart on them.

How does impeaching a public official for bribery, misdemeanors and and racketeering (felony) involving cash payments to their family by our worst foreign adversaries devalue impeachment? Seems that is EXACTLY for which it is in the Constitution.

    ARTICLE II
    Section 4

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Yes don't you agree? It's that "misdemeanor" in the clause. What the Congress deems as HIGH misbehavior in an official capacity. That has always applied.

They like the DOJ were presented with probable cause, evidence crimes may have been committed. The DOJ has been trying for four years to cover it up and now the KEY person is the President of the United States and the evidence continues to mount while this DOJ is attempting sweetheart deals to cover it up and get everyone off.

Are you serious??? No alleged crimes here? No probable cause for crimes here?

Then you MUST be able to explain EXACTLY what was going here why haven't yet? Please do, for what were our worst foreign adversaries paying the Biden family tens of millions of dollars? What legitimate reason, what product or service and provide evidence of it. Why were those tens of millions of dollars being funneled through almost two dozen shell companies trying to hide the source and where it was ending up? Why has The Big Guy been lying about his involvement from the getgo including during the debate with Trump where instead he accused Trump of Russian collusion when he knew that never happened?

It will protect Biden as much as it did Trump....................zilch. The DOJ does not dictate terms of impeachment to the Congress. During the Trump impeachments Congress held people in contempt for not complying with their investigation and subpoena's.

Joe Biden lied when he claimed he had never spoken to Hunter about his business. <photos of Joe Biden with Hunter's business partners and transcripts or audio of sworn statements of Hunter's business partners saying they used Joe Biden to advance their business opportunities>

He even used a pseudonym to email Hunter classified state secrets about discussions with Ukrainian political leaders. <screenshot of email>

The most recent US State Department and the EU reports show both were pleased with a Ukrainian prosecutor's anti-corruption work as he was investigating the corrupt energy company paying Hunter millions of dollars. <screenshots of the reports>

But Burisma wanted Joe Biden to stop the investigation into their corruption. So he did offering a quid pro quo to Ukraine's President. Only if he agreed to fire the prosecutor that day would he release the Congressionally approved funds. <play Joe Biden demand for Shokin to be fired in exchange for a billion dollars. Play the audio of him telling the Ukrainian President that he's a man of his word, now that he fired the prosecutor like he demanded he will release the funds.>

Burisma executives told the FBI that they bribed Joe Biden via Hunter using an elaborate series of shell companies designed to launder the money and make it difficult to track. As they predicted it has taken years to start uncovering the payments, but we have now identified tens of millions of dollars laundered through these companies thanks to suspicious bank reports to the Biden crime family. <show FBI intelligence report showing Burisma was told it take them a long time to find the money as well as details about the bribe and show images of payments as part of the suspicious bank reports>

Joe Biden sold out America and doesn't deserve to be your President <show videos of him wandering aimlessly with a blank stare and falling down or show videos of him saying racist things>

In a few Words that I am sure you are familiar with by now, "No one is above the law"
Just to make it clearer that includes democrats and the progeny of Joe Biden and Joe Himself.
