Polish customs recently detained the South African delegation, including president Ramaphosa, for 24 hours, on it's way to Ukraine for peace talks concerning the Ukraine war with Russia.

Clearly this is a hostile intervention of a world leader and his party, solely based on said parties neutral stance regarding the Ukraine war. Further proof of how neutral parties are being intimidated into adopting certain narratives that align with NATO. Call yourselves democracies?

    Don't make me laugh.

From the article it says they didn't want to leave their weapons checked. Is that normal Polish policy (I don't know), but thats what the article says for the reason:

Warsaw Chopin airport spokesman Piotr Rudzki told the BBC the South African security guards did not have the necessary permits for their weapons.

"We cannot let passengers with illegal firearms into the EU," he said.

Mr Rudzki added that they were told they could disembark if they left their weapons on the plane but they refused.

Do you think that's a reasonable excuse by the poles?

This is THE PRESIDENT OF SOUTH AFRICA! a leading brics nation, you think he's going to hold up the local bodega?

I don't know. If this is what they normally do in this situation then its reasonable. If they don't do it to other world leaders and were just doing it to this person, then yeah, I would say there is no excuse.

The racists in Europe are confined to one group....the Poles and the ukrainians....which are nothing but redneck Poles.

No other white leader has to deal with this bullshit....Biden's secret service damn sure didn't. Just call a spade a spade, while your speech still allows. A little nazi hotbed in that area. Yessiree.

The ruscists keep trying to deny Ukrainian identity since they can't justify their theft of Ukrainian territory and conquest of the Ukrainian people any other way. They need to pretend that the people they are killing and stealing from are somehow beneath them.

The Poles are entitled to have have whatever gun policies they want, for their own country. Why do you not ask the opposite question, of the South Africans-- if they really need their guns, when they are under the protection of the Polish government? What-- South Africans can be trusted, but not Poles?

It is, also, comical that you cite S.A. as being a BRICS nation, as if that gives it specially respected status-- it means they are an ally of sorts, with Russia (and China); so much for their utter "neutrality."

BRICS is a loose gathering of a few angry twerps.

Brazil is in Western hemisphere....60%+ of their economy is geared toward USA....when it boils down to it....they know their place.

China plays its own tune....so does India.

SA usually comes back ....cap in hand ....looking for $$$.

Lastly.....RuZZia....always angry, shrieking, threatening, drunk, burping, farting, .....why no one wanna talk to me??:)

as mentioned earlier, the conversation has already moved past this point but iwould like to add that perhaps the South African President has a long memory and recalls the assassination of a high ranking ANC member by a pole.

The USA gives 300million and with the EU helped install a missile defense system. Maybe that's the price of special admission?

Agreed but it just goes to show what sham democracies these people (USA, Poland etc) truly are and corrupt to the hilt.

That is the common opinion. I understand. It may be true or not but all governments are corrupt to one degree or another. That was my point. Your red herring didn't change that.

I'm not sure what that means but I consider the EU to be plenty corrupt. It was intended to be an economic union. Look what it has become. Corrupt to the core.

When USA and UK keep banging on about "protecting democracy" it kind of makes their words hollow when non of them keep the true principles of it.
