Former President Donald Trump maintains his polling lead over President Joe Biden in a potential 2024 matchup, according to Trafalgar Group polling released Monday.

Trump leads Biden by 5 Points (47.9 to 42.6 percent) with 9.6 percent undecided. The survey polled 1085 general election voters from July 11-14 with a 2.9 margin of error. The poll sampled four percent more Democrats (39-35 percent).

Among Democrats, the poll found that 19.6 percent would vote for Trump if the election were held today. By contrast, only 12.6 percent of Republicans would vote for Biden, a seven point spread.

Among those who have no party affiliation, 46 percent said they would vote for Trump, while 44 percent said they would select Biden, a two point difference.

The positive polling for Donald Trump corresponds with previous polling….

his is great news! Multiple polls show Trump leading Biden in a potential matchup. The nation is sick of let’s go Brandon and wants Trumps better economic, energy, and foreign policy times.

It seems that Trump is running again. It’s only a matter of the timing of the announcement. As of now he is not a candidate.

Biden doesn’t care. He’s not running for re-election and only cares about the agenda he’s told to care about.

I hear that Hillary will decide to run again if Trump does. It seems that she really does want that rematch if he runs and Biden does not.

lol, are we starting this nonsense already? I seriously doubt Biden even runs again. Trump is the worst candidate the republicans could run, almost as bad as if the Dems run Hillary. Almost.

we need new faces in Washington, not garbage from the past.

A sweet potato could beat Joe Biden in a 2024 poll. What's the point of all this?

To adjust for polling bias and the polling blind spot always add at least 10 points to Trump's numbers and subtract at least 10 points from Biden's. ;-)

Biden, IMO, is doing better since the Afghanistan debacle.
He seems to be trying his best to get the USG to do what is necessary to turn back the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Of course, getting the USG to do the right thing is always like trying to push molasses up hill -- Biden has had some success against bipartisan opposition. Ordinary Americans should be praying for him.

Damn, if Trafalgar is putting in within 5 points with almost 10% undecided (which typically benefits the incumbent) with global inflation being almost being completely blamed on Biden trump is more hated than I thought. Especially comparing trump floor with Biden — his worshipers are much more… affixed… to him than the people that voted for Biden.

That y’all are reading this as good news is hilarious.

You will find that very few people center or left mention Hillary — even here she was brought up by Republicans. On the other hand you have the trumpatriots bringing up trump daily — politicians still run on his platform and it is coming to light just how far they were willing to go to steal the election.

If you really cannot figure out why people still talk about him and compare current events to his administration then bias and agenda likely prevent you from deciphering the riddle.

No more so than Trump's. All the more reason for neither of them to run.

It is only the polling firms associated with the Republicans who claim that Trump can beat Biden in 2024.

The left brings him up in every thread out of hatred and because there’s nothing good to say about Biden.
