This came out of another thread so I figured I would make a poll. I am genuinely curious about the current influence of Ayn Rand on the Libertarian movement today. While I had heard of her I actually didn't start to try and read her books (which I found very unreadable) until well after I had read stuff by Locke, Mill and others. I am curious as to how many people consider Ayn Rand to be their primary source of inspiration for lack of a better word or was it another author or even just some person in general.
