I Voted slightly better. Their Policies would have been almost identical but i think McCain would have tried to reign in the Debt a bit.
And i don't think McCain would have divided the Country as much either. All this hateful Democrat "Racist" & "Terrorist" rhetoric has been awful for our Nation.
A President John McCamnesty would be sucking ass.......and would probably destroy the Republican Party with his liberal tendencies. However........nothing could be worse than Barack HusSame Obama--Worst President in American History. . . . .
Worse in some ways. Better in others. For one McCain might do better at the debt. But he'd go via the Republican method which screws the poor and middle class and make unemployment WORSE. I value the poor and middle class and unemployment as bigger issues than the debt so I voted worse.
You are very correct, Libocalypsenow. Especially when you say, "And I don't think McCain would have divided the Country as much either. All this hateful Democrat "Racist" & "Terrorist" rhetoric has been awful for our Nation." After three years, Barack Obama and George Bush have become quite identical in their policies and their differences have become very minor! They ignore Congress when it comes to their war policies and they both think they can spend their way back into national economic prosperity. Obama, like Bush, has increased the power of the NSA, he has broadened the scope of warrantless wiretapping of Americans and both have done nothing to scale back and limit the abuses of the Patriot Act. Obama is clearly the greatest authoritarian and one of the phoniest and most insincere presidents we have ever had. The liberals in this group cannot bring themselves to admit Barack Obama is a liberal elitist. Obama has been given everything all of his life. Other people (William Ayers) have even written his books for him. Obama has never understood the principles of hard work, personal responsibility, getting a good education and ownership of homes and small businesses offer the pathway to prosperity.
Not sure i can agree with your assessment. The number of Americans living in Poverty under Obama is the most since The Great Depression. So i don't see his policies working at all. I just don't think McCain could do any worse.
nope.the demopublicans and reprocrats sleep in bed together, they did not care which one got elected since both parties are corrupt.when you get that high up you got to do what the establishment tells you or you end up like kennedy.Mccain would have done the same things.their birds of a feather.
no difference at all.they both voted to reinstate the patriot act.that tells you right there who they are for,its not us.right now we have George w Obama serving in office.
Precisely: the lab of creating big spending, smooth-talking hypocrites. Secretly located at the Federal Reserve.
There would be an entirely different tone to America if McCain won back in 2008. The Republicans would have been singing a different tune all this time- I imagine things would be "more dire" with McCain- all I have seen so far is the Republicans shooting down anything the Democrats come up with- if things were different they might be slightly worse. Or worse yet, McCain would have already cut off welfare and Social Security causing riots and class warfare with a swipe of his pen.
With unemp at 9.1, gasoline at $3.40/gal, food prices soaring and food stamp usage at an all time high... exactly what has Barack Obama done for the poor & middle class you value so much? How many poor & middle class benefited from that trillion dollar stimulus? Certainly can't see how John McCain could've done WORSE since Obama's done NOTHING. Except for the rich & big business - the one's opening up their pockets to try and buy his re-election while he's pretending to threaten them with higher taxes. The American left is so naive.
Foreign affairs? You really think we'd be sitting on the sidelines, throwing $4 million a day to NATO so they can throw it at Gadhaffi and hope he'll go away? I doubt very seriously we'd be involved in Libya if John McCain was president. A man with military experience wouldn't be content to sit back and pay others to do his dirty work... nor would he be so quick to get involved in something that poses no threat to our country. Other than Obama's famous apology tours, McCain might've had the same policies on Iraq & Afghanistan. Except he would've given the generals what they asked for to win before pulling their troops out from under 'em. Interesting premise... one thing I know for sure. Our country wouldn't be so divided if John McCain had been elected. We wouldn't be discussing some invisible entity called The Tea Party if John McCain had been elected. It's too bad after serving his country for a lifetime, McCain wasn't given the chance to lead the country. Especially considering what a bozo he lost that opportunity to.
NO question better: just allowing our country to avoid ObamaCare - and the business paralysis it has caused - would have us in far better economic shape at this point. IMO, that is worth at least 2 points in the unemployment numbers all by itself.
