Powerful Warrior Angels By JAG October 6, 2022 I heard this news story: There was a Christian woman who was walking to her car in a lonely parking lot late in the evening. Suddenly three evil looking men stepped out from behind cars where they had been hiding. The three men started walking toward her. She could tell by looking at them that they intended to harm her. She froze. Yet she felt peace in her heart believing that the Lord would protect her. The three men kept walking toward her and when they got about 15 feet from her, suddenly they froze, and a look of extreme fear came upon their faces. They then turned around and ran for their lives. The woman had no idea what caused the three men to turn and run. Later the police arrested the three men and one of them told the police that they had seen a powerful being standing beside the women with a drawn sword in his hand. They said his face was like a blazing golden light and that he appeared at least 10 feet tall. And that they could tell from his body language that he was going to kill them if they harmed the woman. ________________________ Armies of powerful warrior angels protect we the people of God. There is an unseen world out there that we cannot see at the present time. But it is as real as it gets. Thoughts? []

It isn't a news story if all you can say is that you "heard" it and here are no basic details, such as a date or location and yet conveniently includes specific details such as the religion of the woman and the detailed description of the figure from the men. (I'm also curious why the men would be arrested if all they did was approach the woman then run away. If anything, they'd be victims of the large stranger threatening them with a deadly - and depending on where it was, possibly illegal - weapon. )
Good morning brother JAG I see your post is drawn some minions. There is an Unseen World, that most people cannot grasp it. When I was wild and in rebellion, I kept my guardian angel busy. Since I have come to fear and obey my Lord, he has had a bit of rest!
OH stop - You know not the name of God and run from the teachings of Jesus rather than Obey. Your obedience is to man made Dogma and not the teachings of Jesus.
I I guess so. I constantly hear from Christians that God allows people to commit evil because he allows "free will." Therefore, a story about an angel saving a woman from rape/robbery or whatever seems to depart from the standard claim.
After over 70 years of dealing with devils and angels, I've found that both can come in many forms at any time and at any place. For example, I was sleeping in a secluded part of a park in Damascus (Syria) and was using my backpack as a pillow. At around 2AM, I felt someone shaking my backpack and trying to warn me about something in broken Arabic. He realized that I was a Westerner and said: "Arabs here very crifty." What he meant was: "The Arabs here are very crafty." and I should move to a safer part of the park. I thanked him and tried to give him about $1.00 which he refused and we went our separate ways. He could have easily have cut my throat and taken everything I had but that was not meant to be. That's just one example of many encounters I've had with either good or evil but, overall, I think that most people are basically good. Thanks,
Regarding the so-called "news" in the West today: ALL the mainstream liberal "news" networks are fake news and they are 100% mouthpieces for the absurd lunatic Democratic Party -- "Men can instantly become women by merely saying they are a woman." Then there was all the "News" outright lies told by all the liberal so-called "news" people regarding COVID. So? So your so-called "news" entities are a large load of lies and deliberate lying liberal propaganda and they have lost ALL credibility. We all now have learned that the liberal "News" organizations present lies to the public and lies fully understood to be lies -- moreover they are proud to tell lies. They have no shame. Evil wicked fake news. The LARGER point is: NOTHING now can cheapen the "news" they have hit rock bottom. ZERO credibility. Regarding being arrested: You're not as brilliant as you think you are. They could easily been arrested for a different crime and one of them could have been weak and mouthy and blabbed to the police about the event in the parking lot. Regarding the stranger threatening them: That came out of your brain. The story does not say that. Rather ... That was the conclusion that the three men reached. []

If you're so distrustful of news, why are you reporting a "news story" in the first place? What makes you assume there is any truth to it at all? Why should anyone else assume that? Is whatever "news" source you heard it from so unquestionably reliable?

People having free will does not mean God cannot intervene. Free will means you have the freedom to decide, it does not mean everyone has total freedom to act. In the Old Testament, angels intervened to save Lot from the destruction of Sodom but in order to save Lot and his family, the angels blinded the angry mob surrounding Lots house. In 2 Kings 19, when the Assyrians surrounded Jerusalem, Hezekiah prayed to God and God sent an angel who slew 185,000 Assyrians and saved Jerusalem. The Bible is clear that God discriminates between "His people" and everyone else. Sometimes God or angels or the Holy Spirit intervenes in some way to influence a decision or direct a person. I've heard stories of people being saved by angels, there are some decent books on the subject. Why wouldn't God save someone from rapists or an accident? In several places the Bible says the fervent prayer of a righteous man will be heard.
