I heard similar predictions to this over a decade ago... but it sure is beginning to happen now.

After the thirty percent drop... then there is another drop of fifty percent more.

Then a major earthquake is predicted to hit the middle of the USA.... Pastor Shane Warren saw this same general thing over a decade ago.

Here is a video from over a decade ago with very similar predictions.

If you believe any of that, and have any money whatsoever to spare, you would be crazy not to start short selling dollars.

Look it on the bright side, Dennis - the Canadian dollar will gain value and be strong. ;)
    I saw that video too.
    We'll see. :hiding:

So you'll keep predicting the same thing again and again, and if it ever actually happens (which, of course, it hasn't), you'd call it a win?

I am not actually the person who predicted this.....
I am summarizing what they predicted and giving a link to their video in a discussion forum............. There is a difference you know!!!!!!

They could actually make some money off this...... but we posters here on the forum do not get paid!!!!!

    That is an excellent point.......

I remember something about from a few years ago!

Cindy Jacobs - Word for Canada, Nov. 2, 2018

    I commented on this video......

"Wow.... after the 3:30:00 minute mark in this video is a prediction of a Prime Minister being elected who will move the Canadian Embassy to Jerusalem!!!!!!!! After this... the USA and Canadian dollar go to par value..... Wow!!!!!!"

You literally said "but it sure is beginning to happen now". So you clearly are supporting and promoting these predictions, but at the same time you're trying to cover yourself if (when) they don't come true.

I've no idea what your personal motivation might be but I'm glad you recognise how much of this can be about profit rather than truth.

Due to the inflation of supply, the fiat dollar *will* continue to decline in price. It is a simple matter of supply and demand.

The dollar has been 'rock steady' in value my entire life.

It used to be 35 dollars for an ounce of gold now it's nearly 2,000.

I'm using the term 'rock steady' the way politicians use all terms.

Why do we allow the government to control money?

There are actually legit reasons to have the government control money. The most important is that each country needs to be able to control the value of its currency vis a vis other currencies [trade]. This is one of the reasons why the Euro is destined to fail. Having Greece and Germany use the same currency was like having a spendthrift and a drunken sailor collaborate on a spending plan. The other important reason is the need to come up with emergency funds to face situations like war, natural disasters, and the like.

Let's say the world adopted a unitary currency that was tied to gold. That is, you could exchange the currency for a set amount of gold on demand [real money]. The problem with this is that there are over 200 countries that have 200+ different economic and financial systems. IOW, you need to be able to adjust the value of your currency in order to balance out other factors that are quite dissimilar from country to country. This is the same reason why there are trade tariffs. After all, how could a small Central American or African economy compete with Amazon?

    The problem is corruption.

I had the privilege to teach English as a Second Language in Quito, Ecuador back in 2001 and 2002 and you can see the English teacher at work attempting to grab the attention of possible future online students in my previous political campaigns.

Here is my 2006 and 2004 campaign writing....

Here is my 2008 campaign writing....

You might be surprised how many posters to political forum joined here partly to either disagree with me.... or perhaps somewhat agree with me. This is especially true if I got a discussion going on one or more of their books. After seeing real poverty with my own eyes in Quito, Ecuador, [which is something of a Switzerland of third world countries], I have felt DRIVEN to write more and more and more and actually initiate campaigns for public office... even if I know that I have essentially zero chance of winning.

For the record all that I write here is like a script and is exactly how I think or speak.... which could actually turn out to be useful in the future.

Gold and silver have been money throughout history up until the last hundred or so years. An ounce of silver is an ounce of silver no matter what country it gets spent in. There is no need for the government to have created fiat money.

Oh wait, there was a reason. So they could print money!
