    ….In contrast, at his last Christmas tree lighting ceremony in 2019, President Donald Trump reminded Americans of the Christian heritage and beliefs that Christmas trees represent:

    The sheer and utter contempt of the nations bi coastal secular progressives and their national leaders for religion and even for God Himself is shown clear to all in events like this. Their animosity and ill will toward other Americans shines through as well with the terms they use to describe God, His Book of Love for humanity, and our places of worship is well known and often expressed in the harshest terms of derision and bitterness.

    The author of this article is right on on this compare and contrast topic. I associate myself with his words and feelings toward Biden and the bi coastal secular progressive elitists as if they are my own opinion.

    No one is dumb enough to think Trump is actually a Christian. No one. Meanwhile, you can celebrate the holidays without paying homage to such things.

    So an authoritarian is upset because his religion wasn't pushed by the force of government.

    I see that as a good thing.

    If someone wants a state religion, Iran might be a better choice for them.

    And no, Christmas Trees are not about Jesus. Come on, put some limits on the revisionism.

    Can you explain what Santa, Christmas trees, and stockings have to do with Jesus? Maybe explain why my Christian church was against all of those things and regarded Christmas as a pagan holiday? How about explain why no early Christians celebrated the birth of Jesus as a holiday, much less did so at this time of year. Stop me when I ask too many difficult questions.

    Christmas is all about Jesus. It is a paid federal Holy Day in His name. Jesus is the sole reason for the season!

    Christmas was celebrated by Pagans long before the church confiscated the day. Christ was born in July. Christmas is about celebrating Winter, for me. I love Santa.

    Pronounced krismas, and declared by the courts as a federal secular holiday

    Christians renamed the Pagan Holiday CHRISTmas, then it started to be pronounced X-mas and eventually... Krismas, and it stuck

    you are free to pronounce it CHRISTmas, the rest of us will continue to pronounce it Krismas

    Each can celebrate it how they see it best.

    personally I do not care how one celebrates Christmas, maybe it would make some happier if the secular federal holiday was renamed Krismas, and the religious holiday was called CHRISTmas instead?

    Winter is December 21, not December 25. No one knows exactly which day or month Jesus was born of the virgin birth, the Son of God sent to save the world from Satan and sin. So, ancient Christians guessed and picked a day. The point is Who and why we are celebrating this Holy Day, not getting the date exactly right.

    That’s up to each individual to decide for themselves. That the fascist thug that some people imposed upon us as their president couldn’t even be bothered to say a word or two about the original Christmas speaks volumes to the hollow fakeness of his own personal religious experiences. He talks about how polarized and divided we all are and then piles salt in the polarization of those opposed to him. Biden the great divider in chief.

    I also think Christmas is a good experience for a child to learn to seek the truth on their own - without Santa, there would be no Christmas :xmassanta:
