What makes you think that? Everything I've heard strongly suggests that the GOP will retake control of at least the House, possibly the Senate as well.

If they run a bunch of cultist “stop the steal” candidates in close districts, I predict they will shoot themselves in the foot and lose the house big time. It looks like the GOP is still letting Trump pick their congressional candidates. We shall see. If the Dems are wise, they will focus on getting their voters out in all swing congressional districts and tie any Trump candidate directly to the shitshow on January 6.

It's quite a rock and hard place for them. The more they lose elections and power, the more the conspiratorial base is riled up by Steve Bannon and his puppet, Donald Trump, into a revolutionary frenzy. They can't win with Trump and they can't quit him, either.

Brokeback Mountain...Now they are running these ridiculous fake audits. Some here are actually celebrating the farcical Cyber Ninja audit as another HUGE victory...It’s really hilarious!

TX may go purple in 2024. Without TX, no Republican Pres candidate will fare well.

Well with Trump still making his way in the Republican Party with only his viewpoint, it is slowly fracturing the party. They will have a day of reckoning, when it happens I am not sure. The Democrates still need to put up decent candidates, and I feel with the toxicity of Trump, all they need is to nominate someone who does have a name, with little controversy, that will make Republicans hard pressed to continue Trump's garbage.

I agree with much of what you say. But I think the Dems should guard against simply running a “I’m Not Trump!” candidate/s into the future, for 2 reasons…

    1. Such an approach is short term thinking…TFG won’t be around for ever, regardless of his fortunes over the next few years. They need to develop a longer term strategy that doesn’t revolve around a continuing trashing of him, no matter how tempting that might be.
    2. There are considerable challenges to be met of a policy nature…climate change, trade agreements, infrastructure concerns, economic stability, etc, etc…these have to be dealt with no matter who the political opponent is…

Only losers argue demographics as the reasons they'll win in the future.

Arguing "we will outbreed you" is an admission that you've lost on the battlefield of ideas.

I don’t think that anyone is arguing solely on “demographics”. There is, however, a good reason why the “we” vote the way they do, that goes beyond their race or ethnicity…

Lol…the voter suppression and gerrymandering the cons do since they can’t win elections on ideas is a glaring admission of failure.

Lock Him Up:’ Trump Rally Crowd Targets Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg

The crowd at former President Donald Trump’s Saturday rally in Perry, Georgia, chanted “Lock him up!” in reaction to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg reportedly having given Georgia officials $45 million to fund election-related activities, which may have “significantly affected” the elections in Georgia.

“Georgia officials also took $45 million dollars from Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg to fund election-related activities,” Trump said at his rally, to which the crowd responded with chants of “Lock him up!”

Still peddling the big lie, I see. The orange dotard loses more support now every time he whines about losing the election.
What a whiny little embarrassment he is.

Ever since the democrats cheated in 2020 we are now in a one party system
The GOP is only still around for sugar coating this
We now answer to a monarchy who wants white genocide
Arm up and buy a food dehydrator ASAP
They’ll be coming to sterilize white males first
Don’t say you haven’t been warned

Gerrymandering has absolutely nothing to do with presidential elections, governors races, or Senate elections.

Why are you people incapable of understanding that?

Lol…why are you people incapable of understanding it has everything to do with voter suppression?
The cons can only win by disenfranchising voters.

How has the GOP "disenfranchised" voters? I've no problems with not allowing felons to vote if that's what you mean.

Any "voter" too stupid to register properly doesn't deserve to vote.

    White genocide??

    Oooh la la.....

    Sounds very, very serious!

Now tell me, exactly when is this supposed genocide going to happen? Will it happen on Teevee???

Oh, and just a little grammatical point so that you too can one day blow that famous Bell Curve:

    A monarchy a system, a thing, not a person.

Therefore, your wonderfully whackadoodle sentence should read as follows:

We now answer to a monarchy THAT wants white genocide.

You are welcome. You get to contribute to my next campaign for emperor of the world and I expect you pony up those galactic credits!

This outbreeding thing got me thinking of horse-farms....

Now, it is also a good, solid argument that "demographics is destiny" and one can win both in demographics and in ideas.

Das eine schließt das andere nicht unbedingt aus. The one doesn't necessarily exclude the other.

    Food for thought.
