But I never believed Trump was a 'threat to democracy' because the US is not an unstable banana republic. There would be too much public & govt resistance to a single despot rising to power. That's not to say, however, that Trump would not try. He will, but will not succeed. Hell, he can't even keep his cabinet in line. They're constantly fighting like rabid hyenas to be top dog. Doesn't Trump understand that this is what happens when you surround yourself with criminals like himself? They're always ready to stab one another in the back if given the opportunity.
