I just heard it on the news November 30th at 9:00 pm. I didn't always agree with him politically. But, I thank him for his service to the country. He served in many different capacities. RIP President Bush.
HW Bush was more or less an average POTUS with both positives and negatives which more or less balanced out IMO. He lacked true leadership skills but he was smart enough to know that taxes needed to be increased to pay for St Reagan's fiscal malfeasance. For that he was "punished" by the electorate and we ended up with Clinton who raised taxes again for the same reason. What followed was the largest economic expansion in the history of the nation. HW Bush shares the credit for those tax increases that made it happen.
