    He is awarded this at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina. This was given to him because he passed the First Step Act, a bipartisan piece of legislation helping to end mass incarceration for low-level offenders. Yes, President Trump actually completed criminal justice reform. He was also accompanied by Kamala Harris.

    After Cummings funeral, a lot of democrats are heading en masse to South Carolina to assure the African Americans that they really do care about them. LOL

    yes, this was a good thing, too bad there was so many bad things Trump has done, but signing this bipartisan bill was good thing, thank you Trump, thank you republicans and that you democrats

    The other day, I listed all the good things Trump has done in 2.75 years.

    This was it...

    Of course, we have to remember he didn't really push this personally... he signed a bipartisan bill..

    But still... he did manage to sign it...

    Trump met with Kanye and Kim Kardashian to get their feedback with these reforms.

    I remember the left being furious that they would meet with Trump.

    I do too. And guess who else worked with our president on this, Van Jones, yes the 9-11 truther whom Obama had to fire because of his beliefs. CNN quickly picked him up from the ground, and put him in as expert commentator because they so admire his views. Van Jones won't even talk about how our president asked him if he wanted to work with him now.. This is WHY he got the award; he reached across the aisle for their input. Since then Van Jones is still spewing out hate and lies on our president.
