    There are these newfangled doodads called "economic indicators." Stock market, consumer confidence levels, etc.

    It amuses me that some people hate Trump when he's doing so well.

    Yet when all those were doing well under the previous President, the numbers were all lies. You people even decided to change the way unemployment was calculated just to make him look bad. Sorry you don't get a free pass now.

    The only thing that Trump has done that would affect the indicators was to give the Banksters free reign by deregulation and appointing a Goldman Sachs Bankster as Secretary of the Treasury. Your understanding of Wall Street and economics is very questionable and the only people that will benefit from anything Trump is doing other than himself are his cronies and the Russian Oligarchs. And this is not even taking into account how his other self-serving policies will do damage to the average American, but you know...he's bringing coal jobs back...:roll:

    And what does that have to do with Trump? I was told for eight years that the good things that happened in the economy had nothing to do with the President. Are you guys flip flopping again? I bet unemployment numbers start getting tallied again the same way they were before Obama too. Funny how that happens huh?

    A lot of people believe in gods as well. So, when is the Second Coming due? It's been 2017 years so far, and no sign yet. As for Trump's speech to congress, I have to concede that I was surprised by his tone. At least he appeared to have moderated his output with none of the tweet hyperbole or infantile attacks we have come to expect. A new leaf, or restraint for effect?

    Skills? Buying and selling property is about as skillful as Trump gets. I don't see anything else worthy of mention, frankly-other than his skill in conning people to elect him.

    Good grief. Will you finally grow up? It's been proven time and time again that polls don't reflect Trump's support and popularity accurately.. Stop flagging the dead horse.

    Even you will have to eat a humble pie and admit that Trump's speech before congress was a hell of a speech. By any standards.

    And he accomplished this in EXACTLY 40 days (the rec opening stage). Obama gutting the military, hurting the lives of those of us that served our country, makes Trump look like a 5 star General.
