So he's actually conducting the nation's business while golfing unlike Obama did? Remember when Obama had to be dragged off the golf course to give the official go-ahead to take out Osama Bin Laden? The objection to Obama was that it was ALWAYS just play for him. He never did any actual work unless it involved unzipping and urinating on this nation.

Trump should be allowed to play golf, just like Obama. There is nothing wrong with playing golf, but of course asking a rightwinger to be consistent is asking way too much.

    Thanks for the "alternative facts."

Trump seems to be engaging in the very acts he criticized.

Welllllllllll . . . we are talking about leftist critics of Trump and so whether or not it is a good thing that Trump is conducting business while golfing with a Japanese muckity muck depends ENTIRELY on the average melanin ratio count of the Japanese.

He is? You mean that he has NOT been working like a bat out of hell for these past two weeks and that this is NOT a working golf trip? Gasp! You mean that he is screwing off just like Obama did for eight straight years?

Perhaps you can because only you seem to think Trump was against Obama playing golf per se. There's a crucial distinction here (playing golf vs. playing golf
repeatedly and not doing the nation's business) that you seem totally unaware of, or are ignoring purposely.

How often did Obama play on his own golf course?

Frankly, I did not vote for Trump so he could jet back and forth to his home.

But he has done plenty to infuriate people who approved the golf of Obama, now suddenly hate golf playing.

I would rather Trump take up competitive shooting to relax. Stick with his base.

I believe the distinction your post speaks of is selectively partisan.

I like how every Presidency the opposition party supporters suddenly hate golf.

It's one of the few remaining bipartisan policies.

I seems to recall, most people Obama golfed with were surrogates, willing to handicap themselves... not always but most of a time :)

Nice deflection. No proof about Obama being dragged off the golf course. As usual rightwingers flap their gums with nothing of substance coming out. Its no wonder you like Trump so much.

He's playing golf with a prime minister------not his friends. Again, I say, and it bears repeating, that Trump has done more in trying to fulfill campaign promises he made, despite the totally despicable obstructionisn of the Senate, than Obama did in 8 years. And he doesn't have his Cabinet YET...democrats are a total disgrace to this nation...

He promised to fly down to Florida and play gold with Abe?

Let's face reality. T trump is a raging (*)(*)(*)(*)ing hypocrite on this issue. He attacked Obama at least a half dozen times for playing golf, and the guy takes off weekends in a row and......plays golf. Shamelessly I may add.

The issue here is not the golfing per se, since it is a work meeting, not golfing for leisure.

The issue is rather that they golf at the Trump-owned Mar-A-Lago resort in Palm Beach. That presents another ethics problem and conflict of interest.

Seems like Trump is not taking the ethics too seriously. What a surprise....
