I thought Mexico was gonna pay for the wall.

Now you want the taxpayers to do it.

Republican Congress protecting Trump by not bringing him a bill he wouldn't not sign. Mitch McConnell says
" I'm looking for something that President Trump supports, and he has not yet indicated what measure he is willing to sign,”

    The Trump Shutdown

There is no American money to be used for the wall. Period.
Mexico will pay for any useless wall. This is the promise made to get elected.

Not enough to build a wall. It was Schumer and Graham offering NO to have the wall in the bill by not having enough in it to build it.

You claim everyone pays in full for their house and car in advance too. Unquestionably, you have never eaten at a restaurant that they did not demand you pay for your meal before they will serve it.

After a year we've Learned Trump will say anything whether True or Not. He's a reality TV con man ...... Nothing more....... Not a Leader

    Yuuuuuppppp!

If only we had a couple of hundred billion dollar media companies to distribute those facts like the Democrats have to distribute their "Trump shutdown" lies.

At some point in the future we're going to have to sit down and reclassify a lot of these outlets as entertainment rather than journalism so that the protections they enjoy can be rescinded and we can start holding their libel, their slander, and their fake news legally accountable

Trump said he won't sign a DACA bill without money for the wall and immigration reforms.

McConnel won't even allow a vote on such a bill if he thinks trump wont sign it.

    So what?

What hes saying is "I'm not going to do my job because I don't think I'll get everything I want".

How does his ineptness make this the Trump Shutdown?

Because one cuck out of one hundred Senators says so?

You want it to be so true that you didn't spend a single moment thinking about how dumb this is.

THE US PRESIDENT DOESN'T VOTE IN THE SENATE.

I'm going to be so happy when McCuckell is gone.

Not presidential? I agree. His supporters will think that the past presidents being presidential is one of the things that help to sell them out, in the past. So, don't expect them to cry over him not being presidential. If they wanted one of those they would have voted for an establishment back stabber presidential president. Just trying to tell you the truth of the matter and the way many of his voters think. I think most of them still trust the man they elected. As obama's voters did.

Mitch McConnell is a seasoned successful Deal maker who is trying to Protect the Republican President by waiting for Trump to make up his mind on what he wants............ So he wouldn't embarrass himself again. Oh yeah ............Trump quite the Dealmaker for sure !! LOL !!

Yes. Dems are essentially puppets and Trump is the stage master.

Democrats are far more concerned with Illegal Immigrants than they are with our great Military or Safety at our dangerous Southern Border. They could have easily made a deal but decided to play Shutdown politics instead. #WeNeedMoreRepublicansIn18 in order to power through mess!

What wall? There is no wall to pay for. Why would Mexico pay for something that doesn't exist?

McConnell is old and does things the old weak way. He tries to be respectable and polite towards others in the Senate who act like spoiled brats on both sides. He has to power to force his will via committee assignments and won't use it.

If he told Lindsey Graham to cut it out or he'd lose his military committee spot Graham would do anything McConnell says.

You want Republicans to agree to giving food stamps, welfare, free school, free medical, social security and housing assistance to over 1 million non-Americans.

One guy says something you want to hear and you think that's the way things are.

    Think about that...

Don't let your confirmation bias turn you into a dupe.

And don't forget the core matter here: Democrats and Republicans have different ideas on how to spend money.

Trump will do his best to make it all bearable until enough Dems come to their senses and allow the Federal Government to reopen. Dems have been on fifteen month rage fest culminating in this shutdown. Hopefully they will now come to their wits.

In the meantime, Trump and his amazing team will do their very best to make this time as easy as possible on the nation while we all wait for Dems to regain their sanity.

But, I'm not the only one.

AMERICA UNDER TRUMP IS EDGING CLOSER TO LIBERTARIAN PARADISE:

“The federal government remained shut down, but Stormy Daniels was open for business.”

But the real question is, who was the #journalist who got the lap dance:

Women swaggered by in tights, leatherette and heels that could dent metal, brushing past a vending machine that spits cigarettes. Bartenders shooed too-stingy visitors from the good seats, returning $15 in singles for a $5 drink order paid with a 20, and mouthing the lyrics to “Super Freak.”

Dancers pawed playfully at their prey, flipping their hair at patrons like a fishing line.

“All right — one,” a member of the news media relented eventually, disappearing for a few minutes as a dancer led him to a back room. She returned a short while later to flip her hair at the other scribes.

    Was it Glenn Thrush?

    "Negotiating with Jell-O"

This weekend, Democrats -- both in and out of the media -- find themselves flummoxed with Donald Trump. Again.

“Negotiating with President Trump is like negotiating with Jell-O,” Chuck Schumer whined on the Senate floor on Saturday. “It’s next to impossible.”
