    I have no problem renaming it if that's what the military wants to do....but yeah...no doubt that the racist "progressive" Woodrow Wilson named it.

    If you and I enter into an agreement and we both willfully sign a contract that defines our rights and responsibilities under said agreement.

    Years later I come back and say, “You know I never liked this part of our agreement because I consider it to be immoral. As such I’m no longer going to uphold that portion of our contract whether you like it or not.” You respond with, “That’s fine. If you want to unilaterally alter our agreement without my consent then I want out of our partnership.”

    Who is the traitor? You or i?

    If I then come back and say, “No you’re not leaving our partnership and if I have to murder your men, women and children to stop you then that’s what I’m going to do.”

    Who is in the right and who is in the wrong? Furthermore if placed in that position would you not fight back?

    The forming of our union was not a one to one agreement. It was a forming of an association among states.

    Your theoretical killing of men, women, and children by the Union is as bogus as the day is long if you attempt to apply that to the Civil War.
    The American Civil War I am sure had way less civilian deaths than any war anywhere.

    But it was unanimous consent. Which means any one party could break it off. But if that weren’t true, what are you suggesting? The government can violate the constitution at will and with immunity?

    Nothing theoretical about it. After the north realized they were getting handled by an “inferior” army they switched commands and started engaging in a scorched earth terrorism campaign targeting civilian populations with countless accounts of pillaging, rape and murder.

    Yeah that’s how it starts and it gets worse when they start illegally ripping down our memorials to our ancestors and then it gets worse by setting our museums on fire like the other night while the police stand by and do nothing.

    What do they need to do before the rest of you are outraged? Hunt us like animals?

    Sure works for me. I was once stationed at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base SC...it was right on the beach, loved it there. .then it got BRAC'd --- now it's a municipal airport for golf courses.

    In Vietnam most bases were named after the town or village it was in.
    Da Nang, Nha Trang, Pleiku, Phu Cat, Cam Rahn Bay, Quan Nygnon, Hue. Etc
