Dems and Reps. If Trump does not complete his first term and Pence takes over.

...will you be happy with Pence or would you have preferred Trump?

Neither actually but, given a choice and given the circumstances, I'd be okay with Lyin' Mike completing the current term. He would likely keep his head down and try not to do anything stupid........

Pence would be ideal. Better than Trump.

But I want Trump to annoy libs for another seven years if possible. It's too much fun.

IF Trump is impeached, or resigns, then Pence will be equivalent of Gerald Ford ... basically a suit that fills the seat until the next election.
Then again, remember what happened to Agnew.

I won't feel the country itself is disintegrating before my eyes under a Pres. Pence. He's not as toxic to our republican form of government. We may never recover from 4 years of Trump.

You've forgotten the Democratic/liberal fantasy that for some reason Vice President Pence would be impeached and removed from office at about the same time as President Trump. Which would be a staggering reach by any standard. That would amount to a political coup if the Democrats were in control of the House and thus the Speaker of the House became president.

Trump is what Trump is but, Pence is a Demon. MVP Pence - (Mandatory Vaginal Penetration -Candidate) hates the principles on which this nation was founded - respect for individual liberty.

Pence is a true wolf in sheep's clothing and an Establishment insider.
Unlike Trump - Pence is calculating. Pence is very good, in some ways, at hiding his evil nature.

In addition, Pence is a religious zealot and embodies all of the nasty qualities of religious zealotry which deeply influences his decision making.

Staggering? No. It's about what happened with Agnew and Nixon.

Agnew was forced out due to malfeasance completely unrelated to Nixon's crimes.

It was a culture propagated by that White House. The culture of today's White House is just as lax morally. Pence is going to be tainted by it whether he
he wants it or not. You don't walk into a pig sty expecting to come out smelling like roses.

That is a made up fantasy of the right. Pence is preferable to Trump, yes.

Pence, however tainted by Trump, will be President if Trump is removed: nothing else is indicated by the known facts now.

I have no issues with Pence as president, as long as he doesn't base all policy on the Bible.
We have a blind love of Israel which hurts us already.
We also need to stop basing our laws on drugs, prostitution, on Biblical foundations.

Meh, all that changes when we swap out personalities in this political system is the oral cavity from whence the grand illusion is delivered with messianic fervor. The Wall Street/donor/”job creator” class always has it covered “either” way and you will still have the ever-present-regardless-of-electoral-outcomes cabal of Goldman Sachs execs in the oval office. Same as it ever was.

A power structure that will place a dominatrix torturess who destroyed evidence atop the CIA, a result of its unwillingness to prosecute its own war criminals, can only at that point further devolve into its full authoritarian totalitarian self.

A society that already engages in corporate for profit incarceration with convict labor leasing, that has eradicated a citizen’s right to Habeas Corpus, that has no judicial review before a president can have citizens assassinated, that murders unarmed citizens in the streets with impunity, and has a militarized police force trained by the Israelis in crowd control and population subjugation hasn’t all that far to go. The power structure has a long a rich history of putting down any and all who disagree. This has always been the function of the CIA and FBI at home.

Pence won’t alter any of that, just as Hillary would not have. The system has no answer, we are all living the power structure’s response to the needs of society and the demands of it’s people.

I prefer Trump. Pence could go Bush style neocon Christian Zionist very easily. Trump is more savvy to this kind of pressure.

Other than that I see nothing bad Pence could do. Both will stop the progressives so either is fine for me.

Stop the progressives at some things perhaps but not in relation to their most evil agenda - increasing Gov't power and decreasing individual liberty.

Pence hates the the founding principles - respect for individual liberty and limited gov't power - even more than the progressives.

Pence will annoy the libs way more than Trump.

The Lib's love it when Trump makes a fool of himself - and this happens on a weekly (if not daily) basis.

Pence will not give the Libs joy like Trump does.

These "Trump will be out any day now" threads are just like the "Hillary's a lock" threads. I bet Trump will get 2 terms. If the election was today, he still beats Hillary.

He's on too short a wife leash to be president, he might have to meet with a female head of state.

What did Pence do to deserve a removal in the libs eyes? Is it just wishful thinking on their part?
