Meeting people who did business with him at some point in time is not evidence that he knew of the business dealings. And it wouldn't be illegal for him to talk about his son's business dealings or even to lie about it later.

I didn't ask if he had knowledge of the business dealings. I asked for evidence of bribery. Which you are still failing at. Hell, even the post above doesn't actually link to the tweet so that I can look into it further.

I think this answers the question in the OP. But saying that they have no evidence is too soft. In reality, they don't even have a CRIME.

 

This is the same list that you told me was full of LLCs that hadn't been registered. I spot checked three of them, and all three were registered here in the US. If you actually get back on-topic, I might review the rest.

I also have no evidence that YOU didn't use these shell companies to launder money, and then frame the Bidens!

 

Looks like Comer and Jordan are providing a golden opportunity for him to do just that…

 

You have no evidence to prove Joe had no knowledge of the fake shell companies and use these shell companies to launder money from bribery.

 

You're a smart guy. Let's say you're in Joe Biden's shoes and your opponents are painting you as being corrupt via your son's activities. Let's also say you're totally innocent. Now wouldn't you want to make the cries of corruption go away by having you and your son explain in detail everything that's being questioned?

And the Hunter thing about him wanting to testify publicly is a PR stunt. In public hearings each committee member only gets 5 minutes and they'd be do so blindly without the info Hunter would have provided in a private setting where there are no time constraints. Heck, if asked directly who the big guy is, I'm sure Hunter can rope-a-dope for 5 minutes and not give a proper response.

 

You have shown no evidence that Joe did have knowledge, you've not shown they are "fake shell companies," you have not shown they were used to launder money, you were flat-out dishonest when you previously claimed that they weren't registered, and NONE OF THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE OP.

So a few congressmen are going to find the truth with just five minutes each? The offer to go public and public only was a stunt and you know it. It gave folks like you a reason to say Hunter wanted to spill his guts, but he wanted to do it just on his terms. He can also go to any news outlet in the country and state his case, but he hasn’t.

Look, the ball is in Biden’s court. Smoking gun or not, a large part of this country thinks he’s corrupt or unethical, the perception is there no matter what anyone says and perception is reality. If Biden is innocent, both of them, then why don’t they come clean with what they did to earn that money?
