Reminds me of the Concentration Camps in California (and other places) where whole Japanese families were incarcerated for fear of their ethnicity.

When I arrived in Iraq in 2003. I stepped off the aircraft and was immediately trucked to Camp Caldwell, on the Iraq-Iran border. I checked in at the Orderly Room and a bunch of guys were huddled around a TV watching an Iranian broadcast. A young boy, probably 11 or so, had stolen a piece of candy from a store. They were televising his punishment.. a truck was being driven over his arm.

 

When they actually do it, yes.
