It's their Detroit. It'stheir culture and lifestyle -- and they are proud of their city. They love and enjoy it. So let them do whatever keeps 'em happy. Why should anyone care what goes on there?
Ha! And I've made the same observation about Robocop. The dystopia that Detroit became in that movie is far better than the actual reality.
I had an idea to help Detroit with its financial woes. I was thinking that maybe it could be turned into a great theme park. Call it "Dystopia". Admission fees could be used to purchase crack, guns, alcohol, and other necessities for its real, live characters. Man, that would kick Disney's ass. Hold onto your wallets and bring your family to - DYSTOPIA!
I'm telling you the answer is rights under our noses to fix Detroit. Well over our heads. Turn our car plants into drone manufactories. We could sell them straight to Obama and his DHS. He loves these things and will buy as many as we could make. Hell Hillary would even buy one to make sure Bill is using his cigars like they are meant to be used.
