I sort of like the tone of this one:

The Ukrainian people turn out to be much braver more determined than Putin expected.
But what is actually going on in the head of this guy??

I’m trying to see what Putin is achieving, but it doesn’t look in his favor at all.
    1. His unjustified war seems to have made Ukraine the most loved country in the world, which hardly could have been his intention.
    2. He has brought the USA and Europe together more than ever.
    3. The free world is pushed with their nose on the fact they have to stop buying oil and gas from him, as he is an unreliable and cheating trade partner using his money to destroy the freedom of democracies. A bit late, I agree, but now it looks we are now awake. Europe wants to phase down Russian gas within a year and the US has already done so. Energy is Russia’s main and almost only income, so losing western customers will be a blow to Putin’s economy in the longer run.
    4. He has shocked his buddy China, as a NATO-Russian war would be devastating for Chinese trade and their economy.
    5. After 74 years of communism and poverty, Russian people are back to start, living again in dictatorship with no access to western products and lining up in front of the shops.
    6. He has brought his Russian billionaire friends into a big financial loss. They won't be not pleased with him.
    7. Europe will now spend more money on defense against Russia than it has ever done before.

So, what is in it for him? Even if he succeeds in sticking Ukraine in his pocket, there will be underground resistance forever and him showing off as the “glorious” bully doesn’t outweigh the devastation he will be causing to his own economy.

To me, it looks this guy is not after the good of his country at all, it’s all about his obsession of becoming ‘Caesar’ of the world. He has forbidden two EU countries, Sweden and Finland, to enter the NATO, as if it were up to him to govern the EU, he wants to change the Ukraine constitution as if it were his right to do so in free countries, and has tried to influence US elections at the time.

His idea of the whole world dancing like puppets to his wishes will never work. In the West, we might be naïve sometimes, but there is one thing that really p**ses us off: and that is a dictator sticking his nose in our freedom. Hitler had to learn the hard way, and so will he.

The Ukraine might seem like the most loved country in the world, but that's because the ignorant of the world don't know that beneath all those innocent Ukrainian Women, Children and Men being killed is one of the most corrupt countries in the World that has a plethora of it's own Human atrocities. War Sucks! and there's never been one without innocent people being murdered in the process.

    Yep, God loves Nazis.

Yep, especially when they're being held as human shields and can't leave.

    Maybe a sense of justice?

Yep, that's why at the UN the only two nations that didn't vote against the glorifycation of Nazism was the US and Ukraine.

Washington's intent for the war, was probably to separate Germany from Russia and hold back it's economy.
Stupidity. Russia has always stuck to its agreements. As for needing Europe, guess again. All the gas from the fields that now supply Europe are being diverted to China. The Europeans will suffer with the loss and the higher prices, but again, that's probably Washington's intent.
Not really! China needs Russia more than it's needs the West
Wrong again! Russia will simply start producing the very few items that it might lack. If the wealthy Russians are able to afford luxury items from Italy and France, then they can afford to go to Dubai and buy them. Sanctions was the opportunity that Putin was given to make Russia self sufficient. Protecting his country from the onslaughts of the West has always been more of a priority to him than any temporary economic gain.

As for the loss of the Russian market by Europe, it has hurt them quite a bit - but then again, that might have been Washington's intent.

Putin has compensated for it by putting the ruble on a gold standard and thereby making it the most secure currency in the world. The billionaires can now turn to rubles and forget about the dollars. We will suffer.

And thereby enrich the American military industrial complex. More money for the billionaires in Washington. What fools!

I'll tell you what's in it for Putin. The security, freedom and welfare of the Russian people in the South and East of Ukraine and the holding back of Nato, which is the most evil force that has ever existed - especially if you take into account the amount of deaths and destruction it has caused throughout the world. .

A lot of paranoid projection there, when taking into account our own actions and Washington's impositions on the free world - and by free, I mean the nations that are not under Washington's thumb.

If they stupidly enter Nato, which is the most destructive force that ever existed, then they will be an existential threat to Russia and will suffer accordingly.

Ukraine hasn't been free ever since Nuland had her coup and chose Ukraine's president.

Well considering all our regime changes and attempted regime changes through our NGO's and bribery throughout the world, what you wrote is either a paranoid projection of our own actions or a deliberate intent to deceive the American people.

Projection again? Sounds more like Washington with its bullying and sanctions. I have news for you. The more nations Washington bullies with sanctions so they won't trade with Russia, the more those nations use their own and other currencies to avoid using the American dollar. Now nations are starting to drop the Euro as well and are starting to use the yuan. Smart move Biden, keep it up.

Strange that you're looking and imagining things about others, and not looking at the tyranny imposed on the American people by Washington and its corporate controlled media brainwashing. But then again, demonizing Russia to distract from our own governments actions, is common practice.

When your beloved Ukraine was killing people in Donbas for 8 years, it was so sweet... so democratic... so free and tolerant!
The "free world" is dictated by demands to buy energy from the United States.
familiar Western training manual about poverty and dictatorship. It's even boring.
Or maybe he did not have such friends? Maybe the Western training manual lied? In any case, the common people rejoice.
And who supplies Europe with weapons within NATO? Right! USA will make money.

Your conclusions suggest that the beneficiary of the conflict in Ukraine is America. She invested a lot of money in this conflict.

You just think with your head: What reason did Putin have to attack Ukraine? Do you seriously think that there was no reason - all these are the whims of a sick person? If you think so, then congratulations to Western propaganda! They are very good at brainwashing.

Russia is a second rate power that doesn't have any ability to achieve global hegemony. All they have is the ability to start Armageddon. That's quite literally it.

NATO has no justification for fighting Russia in the Ukraine, the instant they cross that line though it becomes a very different story.

NATO is an aggressive organization, but NATO countries are simply afraid of a direct confrontation with the Russians. They want to live.
