Putin gave all Crimean´s big business to "Muslim " Chechens

The "weak hold" in that article is apparently referring to Chechnya and not to Crimea.

 

Chechens are Russian citizens. You're a racist. In the Russian market economy, for any objects or works you have to win the tender.

 

In Crimea Russians are going to face a real economical problem, very pragmatic.

Every year Crimea costs 800,000,000 EURO to Ukraine, now these costs are going to pass on Russian shoulders.

Then, a part nationalistic promises to Russian Crimean Patriots [or something like that], now Moscow has to demonstrate that Crimea workers are going to see their incomes arise [at least at the mean Russian level]. Otherwise they could suspect that the Kremlin is going to use them as "low cost manpower". Ok being patriots, but what about being stupid?

GDP per capita in Crimea is 80% less than the Russian one [about 66% less than the GDP per capita in the rest of Ukraine].

What can I think about this article? It is a bit outdated (2010), but I think same staff can easily happen now as well. Chechens have never been friendly to Russians. I think that we should have used in Chechnya the same politics, as was used by Ermolov in 19th century. You know this story, when chechens took as a hostage the Head of his military headquaters, one Colonel and started to ask for a lot of money? Instead of paying that money, he just sent several hundred kasaks to Chechnya and took as a hostages 10 or 20 leaders of auls (villages) and said that if his Colonel would not be released, he will hang all these people. And he got his Colonel back without any money.
