The GOP has been trying to suppress the votes of demographic groups who do not traditionally support it for many years. Some of its efforts have been rejected with courts recognizing them for their basic unfairness and or unconstitutional design. Which in every case has been the disenfranchisement of targeted votes.

There is something more insidious going on than run of the mill voter suppression with the efforts on the part various POT groups to deny states the opportunity to ensure the maximum possible voter participation in the upcoming election. Some contend it is Vlad's ultimate goal with his meddling in our election and the under appreciated actions in hacking the voting systems of various states.

The goal is for Americans to lose faith in the integrity of the outcome of elections.

Trump put his foot in that door in 2016 when he accused the system of being rigged. Even going so far as to suggest, in historically unprecedented fashion, he would not concede defeat if he lost.

Even after he won the EC count his 3M popular vote loss stuck with him. He went so far as to claim millions of votes were cast illegally and he set out to prove it. A sham that failed miserably. But, without evidence, he has continued to keep the idea of voter fraud alive through lies, innuendo, and misinformation.

Now, as another national election draws near, the fear is he will carry through with the threat made in 2016 and refuse to accept a negative outcome...........likely rationalizing it based on the lies being told about the reliability of mail-in ballots. Nothing would make Putin happier than seeing the POTUS help in achieving his goal.

Yes. The idea is to claim "voter fraud" as the reason for losing in 2020. There is no clear evidence that mail-in voting would favor Democrats. It would seem like the opposite is true. But we don't know for sure.

So Trump's strategy is to question the integrity of our electoral process. To what end, is the question. Is he hoping his faithful will rise in arms, or something? Maybe that he can at least create enough havoc that he won't get prosecuted for his crimes when he leaves office.

Too many self-proclaimed "defenders of the Constitution" are not bright enough to notice how they are being manipulated.

On somber holiday weekend. president Trump offered these encouraging words to America. Nancy Pelosi wears dentures, Stacy Abrams has a weight problem and Hillary Clinton is a skank.

 

I like how Democrats act like they are above such behavior. They are just as bad, or even worse then trump when it comes to acting like children.

That he is a national embarrassment is without question. After having contributed to one of the worse health/economic disasters in our history the question now is will he top it by causing a previously unthinkable constitutional crisis by declaring the outcome of an election to be unreliable?

 

It only matters to Dems when Republicans won't lay there like whipped digs and take the abuse.

 

You don't see Republicans pushing for mail-in voting, quite the contrary, Wisconsin held its election fairly the normal way. This is about using the virus to pass wish-list things called a 'stimulus' package, and/or to mandate mail-in voting. Again, using 'safety' as a pretext.

Guess what goes on the envelope(to seal it): SALIVA. Guess where those aerosols come from? Democrats can try coming together and stop using this virus as a plank to advance an agenda.
