Question on Gun Control

If the people running our government are a bunch of fascists, and Trump is "literally Hitler", why do you want him to disarm the citizenry?

 

By and large, liberals believe conservatives own the majority of them. Now why liberals want the only guns in the country left in the hands of the police, IDK. Liberals have so many unrealistic expectations, that I've given up trying to make sense of them. They must envision ANTIFA and the National Guard joining forces to go door to door disarming citizens. I can't imagine any scenario that ends with the US becoming a "gun free zone". Truly ridiculous notion.

 

Liberals are incapable of thinking logically because all their thinking is based on their emotions. If they ever learn to think logically they become a conservative.

I'm not a fan of such partisan generalizations that the two of you are making, but I don't think there's anything logical about simultaneously believing that Trump is Hitler AND that he should severely restrict, or completely take away, gun rights.

 

That and they love going back and forth between:

a. The police are the only ones who can be trusted with guns
b. The police are the devil

There is a brand new shiny fire engine parked in the fire house not more than a mile from my house. But there is also a fire hydrant less than 100 feet from my driveway. So what does this 2A supporter do? Why, I buy myself 500 feet of 1-1/2" fire hose, assorted nozzles, and a hydrant wrench. Because I want to be able to have a fighting chance in case that engine is across town rescuing a kitten from a tree. Same reason I'm going to own an ar-15. Because the cop assigned to my neighborhood might be throwing a drunk in the tank across town when the boogie man kicks in my door.
