I'm probably a lot older than most on this forum...I've been watching this mess unfold since the Vietnam War. The media's JOB is to keep citizens arguing over Republican and Democrat issues with the end result being no resolution, thus the statusquo remains in Washington.The mainstream media are in the pockets of their advertisers, paid to do what they are told, including the anlaysts...the MEDIA have been electing our leaders for a long time...George Soros and the likes of him own the MEDIA. I'm one of the few that can THINK for myself and form my own opinion...although from what I'm seeing in the last few weeks, it looks like the public just MAY be beginning to wonder...why the ignoring of Ron Paul. Well, I THINK they and the likes of them are SCARED TO DEATH the voters are gonna think Ron Paul is making sense. Politics begin on the state and local level. I am active. Our Texas congressmen down here are touting Rick Perry, won't even mention Ron Paul's name... Rick Perry attended the Bilderberger conference in 2007 which should be a red flag to ALL Americans, sold our roads to foreign investors, facilitated the biggest buyout ever of TxU (Texas utilities) to globalists, and if ya don't know what a smart meter is better find out, one is coming to your home in the near future (Californians are protesting them furiously), already have one on my home, sensors calculate wattage during peak hours and charge a much higher rate, my electric bill has doubled...ERCOT is petitioning congress to be able to set the temp in our home with the sensors....it's blocked right now but I guarantee some politician will be selling out to the highest bidding lobbyist...mandated with an executive order the inoculation of all teenage girls in Texas with the Gardasil vaccine after receiving a $6,000 donation from Merck and stipulating that one of his aides oversee it...look at his lavish rental on youtube if it hasn't been taken down, to the tune of around $10,000 monthly...doesn't look too CONSERVATIVE to me... Ron Paul has NEVER voted to raise taxes, NEVER voted to go to war, returns a portion of his congressional budget to the Treasury every year, DECLINED the lucrative pension congress voted for themselves, lobbyists don't even bother going to his office, they already know the answer. Ron Paul is known as Mr. NO by his fellow members of congress when it comes to frivolous spending....I'm THINKING no wonder they don't want him elected...their congressional budgets would be in danger. I'm THINKING no wonder they won't even mention his name. They KNOW what Rick Perry is all about and that's why they support Rick Perry, they WANT the same ol same ol "business in Washington. They come home and blame Washington for the spending, they ARE Washington. I hear people complaining about Ron Paul's foreign policy...have you actually LISTENED to Ron Paul's foreign policy speeches other than on mainstream media, have you ever bothered to FIND OUT other than what others say on these political forums? His policy is just what we need...stop meddling in the other countries' business, stop nation building, we go to those countries, bomb them then rebuild their infrastructure while we are letting ours rot...just what the people who are waging the wars want...their pockets keep getting fatter. One of our Founding Fathers said "There are two ways to enslave a nation. One is with the sword. The other is debt". Voila! I would also advise you to find out what he said about Iran and their nuclear threat other than what someone else has said. The only reason Rick Perry made the remark he did about the Federal Reserve is because Ron Paul has been talking about it for a long time...see his speech on C-Span where he called out the Federal Reserve a few days ago, questioning them about why over 88% of the federal bailout money went to foreign banks...Federal Reserve told him that the foreign banks got loans cause they wanted to come over here and do business...and if ya believe that, I've got some ocean front property in Arizona to sell ya. No wonder the citizens of America couldn't get loans...banks didn't have it, it went to foreigners. At least that's what I'm THINKING. Did anyone see this on mainstream media? I saw it on C-Span. That's where I get some of my info. One of Mitt Romney's biggest contributors is Goldman Sachs...Obamney care, that's enough for me. Michelle Bachmann promises us gas for $2gal, if she can do that when she is elected, why doesn't she do it now? People didn't find out who the candidate was and what he was all about in the last election, look where it got us.
You are correct they (media) did this last time Paul ran .Paul's only hope is that the people catch on to whats going on & decide to change it. All this bull(*)(*)(*)(*) about Iran , Iran has not attacked any one but Iraq 1980 -88 & we where helping Iran. Paul is not paid for , scares the hell out of them . I would vote for Paul he's the only one that makes sense. Perry is Tammy faye bakers love child .
