This is a quote from Dr. Ford's opening statement:

"When I got to the small gathering, people were drinking beer in a small living room on the first floor of the house. I drank one beer that evening. Brett and Mark were visibly drunk. Early in the evening, I went up a narrow set of stairs leading from the living room to a second floor to use the bathroom. When I got to the top of the stairs, I was pushed from behind into a bedroom."

Several things bother me about Dr. Ford's statement. First it's problematic that she can't remember when or where the "party" occurred. She only had one beer.... really? She was in a strange house but a house that presumably, like most homes, had a bathroom downstairs. Why did she go upstairs? If the downstairs bathroom was occupied, did she ask someone if there is another bathroom? Who did she ask? Why were Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge already upstairs? At the top of the stairs, she was pushed from behind into a bedroom. They turned up the music and at some point pushed her onto the bed and Brett got on top of her. He began running his hands over her body and grinding his hips into me. My concern here is her reason for going upstairs.... she supposedly had to pee! She was pushed into the room, thrown onto the bed, someone jumped on top of her, grinding on her. She was so scared she feared for her life and YET..... she didn't wet her pants???

Lastly, she can't remember how she got home. After such an ordeal I can imagine she would remember every detail, her hippocampus notwithstanding. Her parents house was a 20 minute drive away. Assuming an average driving speed of 35 mph, that would make the distance back to her home around 12 miles. Did she walk? Did she get into a car with a stranger? Did a friend give her a ride? Did she ever pee?

Asking for those details would be badgering a poor innocent victim. But asking Kav to explain everything written in his yearbook, that had nothing to do with anything, wasn't bullying at all=)
