No I read it. It isn't an example of white supremacy. It's an example of different cultures. I'm sorry I only have the one example and you lied about it so I can't trust you on anything else.

I'm just still shaking my head that anyone has the nerve to call someone a white supremacist at the same time that they're saying that black people have difficulties identifying the association between a coffee cup and a saucer.

Do people even think these things over before they write or say them?

But then again Democrats think that black people have a particularly difficult time obtaining ID that there's some sort of hurdles present that don't seem to affect the rest of us.

in respect to the first part of this sentence, not as stupid as running around saying that somebody called somebody a white supremacist without quoting it. In respect to the second, I think three attempts at explaining to you the point is more than enough to justify throwing your arms up in the air, understanding that a fourth time would make no difference, and just giving up. So thanks for playing.....

Maybe your time would be better spent with inner city youth teaching them how to associate a coffee cup with a saucer

Proving an example? Now THAT would certainly be ridiculous.

There is a standardized test that uses pictures. It's called the Peabody and it is used for testing IQ of students who are not yet proficient in reading. However the kids are asked to identify pictures not match them. Note all tests designed to measure anything must be standardized or the results are meaningless. They are standardized through a process called norming and that is where if there is a problem with a given test that is where the problem lies. Note a test that is normed in an urban environment in an advanced western country may not provide accurate results for people raised in a rural environment in a third world country.

Seriously? This had to be the most bizarre analogy in the history of Political Forum. So you mock others for believing in things that don't exist and yet YOU BELIEVE in something you flatly stated didn't exist.

    so it's not racism.

Good of you to admit that you should probably change your title.

Who said it was? White supremacists USE the results of standardized testing as a weapon to promote their racism. Which I wouldn't have had to explain to you again if you had read the OP. Please try to do that next time before jumping into a discussion.

You did. The thread seems to be about racism
don't have any power or control to do anything at all. This crap that there's some clandestine Shadow government of white supremacist is almost as laughable as flat Earth.

Why not just tell me about the reptilians or the Illuminati.
You don't have to explain stupid horse ****. Just stop believing it it's not real. The Earth isn't that the reptilians aren't coming to harvest your liver or whatever.

I guess this is just a left-wing conspiracy theory.

Are they in League with a fascists and Nazis control your thoughts or something? Do they broadcast radio signals to your teeth?

Golem's "example" was about a standardized test for admissions to higher education. Those are not strictly IQ tests since they actually are trying to measure knowledge to determine if someone is able to handle the work level. A high IQ guy with zero education isn't going to do well on them. No one is taking the Peabody to get into a Gymnasium or British Secondary School or University.

Yes. Specifically about how white supremacists abuse the inherent bias in so called "standardized tests" to promote racism. NOT against tests. They are fun and might have some usefulness if you understand their limitations. But they CANNOT be used to categorize populations. And the example in the OP illustrates why. Basically because there is no cultural standard in populations.

are you sure it's not the reptilians or the Illuminati?
so essentially the system is flawed and it's the reptilians that are making the system flawed or is it men from Mars?
