Not looking good for ol Mitt.

'The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows President Obama attracting support from 50% of voters nationwide, while Mitt Romney earns 45% of the vote. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided.

This is the president’s biggest lead over Romney among Likely Voters since March 17. Obama’s convention bounce has been more significant than Romney’s. As with all bounces, it remains to be seen how long it will last. "

The DNC had better ratings than the RNC and even beat out football.

Republicans should have picked a real conservitive and not a documented liar and coward in Mitt romney.

It's a choice of entitlements or rewarding hard work. I have to believe in my heart of hearts that the U.S. populace has not been conned into believing that the government and taking from fellow citizens is the American way.

If we do go that way, Atlas will shrug and the country will fail. The makers will go another way and the takers will be left with an empty bank account. That is when the true misery will occur.

Incredibly simplistic. America will fail regardless, blame the globalization of the labor force. Manufacturing jobs are never coming back, and we have too many people to effectively function as a service economy. No President or Political Party WANTS to fix it, let alone the two camps who got us in this mess to begin with. There's really no discernable difference between either candidate, but please don't listen to me, just go back to being an unpaid shill for the wealthy and powerful in this country.

we knew the media would have a huge influence on the election and that it will take good Americans a lot of effort to expose the truth, vote out Obama and get the country back on track. We knew it would be difficult but continue our hard work to even help misguided people such as yourself.

So the media is good for the elections if it benefits Romney....but it's bad when it doesn't? Is that what you are saying?

The debates are coming. Uncle Joe is going to get destroyed by Ryan. Obama will be naked without his teleprompter, and will finally have to defend his record. Bill Clinton won't be there to save him.

the media is doing a dis-service to the people of the country. Flashback: all we heard about was Cindy Sheehan and the national debt

Now we hear nothing about the death toll or about the debt...........hmmmmmmmmm

8.1% unemployment, 14.9% underemployment, less work force participation than in decades, 396,000 give up looking for a job, more folks getting on the disability roles than finding a new Obamanomics job AND GDP @ 1.5%. Two word can sum up Obama re-election.....ALL DONE!

I love all of you people who put stock in polls. The polls only reflect reality in the final two weeks of the election cycle. The reasoning is quite clear. Every polling institution has to poll accurately with even distribution of pollees if they want to be considered decent pollsters in the future.

Let's see how they stand when the debates have started and the pollsters are worried about their image. You know. When most of the country is looking.

At this same time in 1980 and 1984, Ronald Reagan was trailing in the polls and we know how that ended.
