Regarding Daca, if they must stay to appease the forever corrupt democrats who care nothing about them and only want their votes, why not implement a class B citizenship that states they can stay and get jobs, pay taxes but will NEVER be able to VOTE? I mean since they are here ILLEGALLY and the American people are generous enough to harbor and support them which according to statistics most quit high school are are on welfare, why not at least have that stipulation? Why should we the people allow them to vote knowing after they get their population numbers up they will vote dems in term after term FOREVER and turn our country into a corrupt welfare hell hole like what's happening in Mexico and Venezuela? Corruption of democrats and the stupidity of their followers is what's bringing this country down and it will destroy America if we don't do something. This is not against all Hispanics by the way. Most who come here legally continue to work hard, educate their children, learn the language, and carry their own weight. No one has a problem with them so no, this is not a racist post. This is in regards to the law breakers that came here illegally, drug pushers, and gangs that keep threatening our citizens and contribute zero to the good of the nation.

Sanctuary cities are nothing but democratic vote incubators that were set up to ensure future elections go to the democrats. Once they regain power, they plan to never lose it again. The dems were blindsided this last election because they didn't think Trump would even have a chance of winning especially after Obama and Hillary's campaign even rigged the election in dozens of ways but still lost. Guaranteed they won't make that mistake again. Once back in, they'll set it up so tight, they'll never lose power again.

The American people had better open their eyes and see what all this sanctuary city business is really about. At the very least no future votes should be allowed from those cities unless all illegals are deported and ICE is allowed in to check ID's first. And even then, all future elections should be monitored VERY CLOSELY. No more allowing situations like in the past election when it was reported stacks of ballots were dropped off in California neighborhoods and dead people had reportedly casted votes.

Are you talking about deporting 11 million people or JUST the DACA folks who have done nothing wrong other than coming here as children with their parents?

If you mean DACA..there are 2,000 serving in the military. Should we pull them back from afghanistan and deport them? Those that are teachers and doctors and students...?

What about their children? Those are citizens...force them out too? Leave them in custody?

WHy would you be that cruel? What have these people ever done to you?

 

If they came here with their parents why are we not hearing about efforts to send them home as a family unit?

Most of the discussion seems to center around younger children but even given that they are grown I don't see the problem. They can take their families with them or leave them behind as they choose. This is a very excellent argument to get rid of the 'born' here citizenship. "But I already snuck in here fair and square" isn't much of an argument for bestowing citizenship on illegals.

 

These are people and families who have been here for decades.They have jobs,homes,careers. The serve in our armed forces.

And you want to kick them out (including their children who are legal citizens) WHY exactly?

 

First, that'd take a Constitutional amendment.

Second, while we're at it, why are we giving away citizenship to anyone just because their parents had them in the US? Why not make everyone born here a class B citizen with a right to work and live here, but they can't vote unless they serve 4 years in the military, Peace Corps or Americorps? If someone wants to run for elected national office, they have to have served for 10 years as either an NCO or officer.

Third, Hispanics are perfect conservatives; they are conservative, family-oriented and religious. So why does the Republican Party continue to blow them off? After the 2012 election, the RNC commissioned the "Republican Autopsy". It said the same thing but still the Repbulcians refused to recruit Hispanics. There's truth in the meme that the RNC has become the party of old, white men.

 

Republicans have targeted Hispanics for so long that they naturally assume that they would probably vote more Dem than GOP...and votes are really all that Republicans care about

 

Party politics have become so partisan and disgusting that both parties are shrinking as more and more voters become Independents.

In the fall, we'll vote. I predict the Republicans will take a hit. The Democrats will crow "Victory!" But the reality is, when given a choice between R or D, the Indiependents will vote for the challenger and against the incumbent simply to keep them off balance. It will be a Republican defeat, but not a Democrat mandate as, I'm sure, many on this forum will declare it is.

 

As we saw when the Jack Abramoff scandal was exposed...Republicans will say

"They ALL do it".

But they don't...Dems are not angels. No one is. But there IS a difference

DACA does NOT grant citizenship to said immigrants, it only grants permission to live and work in the US. To become citizens they must go through another process. Furthermore, those eligible for DACA are only those who have graduated high school, or served in the US military, and have a clean criminal record.

2. Are NOT high school dropouts (with the exception for those who served in the US military and were not dishonorably discharged)

They may have grown up like you did, but in my case my parents weren't undocumented or criminals! My Pops and Momz had valid Drivers License, social security cards, and could qualify for a home mortgage at a U.S. bank or credit union and pass a credit and background check without fear of destroying their seven Children's lives! The undocumented Mexican is just half the problem in this scenario, the LEFTIST are the enablers! If the Dem had any compassion, real compassion! They would stop this sort of mess before is ever gets this out of hand, by adhering to a stringent set of immigration rules and bulldoze those who cross illegally BEFORE they build a house of cards of a sand foundation!
