306 was the projected total, based on each state's electoral votes. Because of two "faithless" electors, he only wound up with 304 electoral votes.

 

I think they're just trolling, for the most part. I'm sure most know the fraud on the scale they're hoping for is absurd. Much like Trump they are dragging out the party.

 

I'm rapidly losing the ability to tell who is trolling & who is deep in the cult. The behaviours are so interchangable that I can't be bothered trying to work it out. Neither category is worthy of any more respect than forum rules dictate.

Trashing your nation's electoral system just to troll people whose politics you don't like is a perfect example of what Trumpism was & will always be. Wrecking the fundamentals of your own society just to feel a bit clever for a few moments is beyond sad.

 

This is exactly why I use ignore. Trolls are so prevalent, you can't really tell real from not real. The easiest way to know, is if the support for one particular person is unwavering, despite evidence that is recognized by almost everyone, globally.

When there's around 10 supporters on a forum for an idea, it's a bot.

 

71 million people are severely brainwashed. It is the greatest political crisis in US history. Half the country literally has no grasp of reality.

 

Wouldn't that mean putting just about all Trump supporters (and Corbyn supporters for a UK angle) on ignore?

If I was an American I would probably use the ignore function more liberally, but as an outsider I find value in observing the totality of US opinion.

I wouldn't go that far, but there are several tens of millions for sure who have seceded from reality that scares the hell out of me, and I live an ocean away.

 

And this is why I simply stick to hard facts and ignore the junk on the periphery. Life is too short to be letting trolls suck the life-energy out of our bodies. We have a pandemic to beat, an economy to repair, race relations to heal and social issues to take off the burner for a while before all out war erupts.

 

How did this happen? It started with mistrust of the mainstream media, which Trump latched onto, telling them they are right (this hooked them), and then that every negative thing they say about him is false.

Maybe some will break when they realize the Trump machine has been lying to them about the "fraud" associated with this election. As the legal cases drop, one by one, this will become increasingly obvious.

A person can be in denial about the imminent death of a sick loved one, but reality sets in once the person dies, or at least before the body starts to stink.

 

Trump is the guest who won't go home when the party is over. He may have to be ushered from the premises. I think he'll be too old to pull a Grover Cleveland in 2024.

 

I think someone told them their opponents don't play fair, so screwing them around anyway you can is fair game.

I just finished reading a bio of Grover. I think it is more likely that Trump will do what Teddy Roosevelt did in 1912. Dividing the party throwing the election to the Democrats.

There have been cases in which affidavits were submitted into evidence, but they were ruled inadmissible because nothing was done to verify the credibility of the accusations. I've looked into some of the accusations, and have found that they consist of hearsay, speculation, misunderstanding, and process complaints. I haven't seen everything, of course, so I have repeatedly asked forum members to point me at affidavits that are credible - that aren't just hearsay, speculation, misunderstanding, and process complaints. No one has responded with any such affidavits or other evidence. It appears to me that the belief in fraud preceded evidence (that is certainly the case with Trump, who proclaimed there would be fraud before a single vote was cast), and it has been the expectation of fraud that leads people to perceive fraud everywhere. But...maybe you're different. Maybe you've seen the credible evidence. Give it to me.

No, you didn't. You've heard/seen a variety of things from a variety of people, and you lump it all together into some boogieman strawman entity you label "leftists". Call out individuals.
