    Obviously headed toward a crushing victory, defendant's friends-of-the-court in the upcoming DOMA and Prop. 8 cases before SCOTUS have submitted Amicus Briefs urging the bench to ignore any scientific evidence that may raise questions about the merits of their case.

    And you're surprised? These people will stop at nothing. Trust me, once all this nonsense is over and DOMA and 8 get struck down, there will be violence. The religious right will be foaming at the mouth like rabid dogs.
