No one is an expert on religion- being an expert defines you as one of a specilaized field and unable to grasp the larger context. I am addressing the larger context- the supernatural as a whole; as a continuum of our belief system.

We- meaning- we who believe there is more- believe in more than life and death. And we serve to further define this. I appeal to those who believe in more than is defined.

Love the movie "Flatliners" as it is a scientific approach to answer religious beliefs of something more; wish there was more to it than just that.

Falling into the realm of Frankenstein- redefining inanimate flesh in an animate sense. Can we remove a brain, keep it alive in a jar and reincorporate it into a new body?

Of course we can't- billions of neurons die with each second of death- to die and be reanimated a minute later is many billions of dead neurons later. Looking for more- looking for someone in a tomb for three days to be reanimated.

There has to be more to our spiritual faith than our corporeal bodies. Perhaps it is a bridge we cross as we cut lines to our bodies- lines that cannot be reassembled. Would like to hear reports from the other side detailing life beyond-

The 'soul (mind, will, emotions) is the bridge between the body & the spirit of man. Many use soul & spirit interchangeably--they are not the same, but 'intertwined.' As scripture says in differentiating the 2:

Hebrews 4:12 (New International Version )

For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Just as in the above scripture, where does the hard bone stop and the marrow begin?!! They are very closely linked or 'intertwined' as such.

And so both the soul & spirit can be 'saved,' but the spirit is made alive toward God in the new birth, with the soul being saved thru the washing by the Word over one's lifetime on this earth. (I.e., reprogramming the mind of man)

The soul is the 'battle ground' between the desires of the flesh and the will of the spirit of man

    name something supernatural.

anyone of science, knows there is more to learn.

It is why the sciences even exist.

    there is
    NO

    there is.

The pursuit of 'understanding'. Each generation has given and left information within words and math, so the next generation could know more than the previous (one example)

You are the life, beyond your gggggggreat grandparents. They are actually alive, in you (in the flesh)

likewise, if you procreate a portion of YOU, is alive in them children (child). You can 'live' beyond the grave, in them.

Ie..... the life that some consider is not what 'life' is. For example; some believe being aware of themselves is being alive but forget that each night when asleep, that conscious experience is not 'aware of' itself.

Reality: sleeping is like practicing 'death' every night!

Which in reality is the awareness of the self. Like a 'bag of rocks' knowing it is alive.

the 'word' of god is the 'name' in which knowledge has been EVOLVING to unveil that name.

idiots dont see that big picture

the 'life' of the matter is the light (energy upon mass)

in which, the 'life' can actually give a portion of itself to live into the next generations or even like darwin, gave of his 'spirit' (life) to write the 'words' that assisted other generations to 'evolve' (think)

The spirit is the energy each can leave, that will live beyond the days of choice (the grave)

For example; each work to keep the electricity on, when you sleep you are warm because of what you did the day before (but you aint aware of it, during sleep)

the NEW birth, is when a mind is awakened to comprehend what it is.

A baby is born without comprehending even how to eat. It must learn from the previous generations. When the pinnacle is reached, then each life will be able to comprehend what it is an be capable of enabling live ever-lasting by its own choice and cause (born again; capable of comprehending itself)
    exactly.

The lies and liars will be extinct and mankind will understand 'itself'.

And the idiots keep wanting some magical mystical crap that makes their flesh 'feel' good, when reality is far more judgmental. Each WILL do what is right or WILL perish.

ie.... the will of life is to live. Idiots want to believe they are living on magic and miracles in a complete irresponsibility to 'truth' (what is real)

Faith and religion are inseparable. Trying to find scientific explanations for miraculous events doesn't really serve a purpose beyond being slightly comical and entertaining.
Faith and religion work like this--
    1. No faith - atheist or materialist fall into this category. Many believe that belief in an all powerful god is harmful. Faith from this perspective is equal to willful ignorance.
    2. Complete faith - Literalist and fundamentalist. (Christian or Islamist) Believe that all scripture is absolutely true. These individuals often disagree among themselves as to the actual meaning or importance of any given
scriptural reference. From this perspective doubt is immoral and faith is central to a spiritual existence.
    3. Ascendant faith - Universalist, deist, pantheist. Exist within religious communities. They believe that scripture has both historical and poetic truth but disagree with miraculous events which defy known scientific facts. Faith is more broad than any single text can cover. Doubt is necessary for spiritual growth from this perspective.

Did Christ rise from the tomb? Here we are discussing this nearly 2000 years after his death. Amazing...
