    Today is the preparation day.

    Post Date Hebrew Calendar: 19-Av-5771
    Post Date Roman Calendar: 2011-08-19

Keeping the Seventh Day Sabbath Holy is the Fourth of the Ten Commandments.

Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exodus 20:9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:

Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Keeping the Seventh Day Sabbath is part of keeping the Ten Commandments.

Christ did NOT do away with His Father's Commandments but kept them and told His disciples to keep the Commandments which includes the 7th Day Sabbath.

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus made it clear that the Jews had taken the Sabbath way too far.

The point of the day is to make it special for God. Anything beyond that is surplussage.

God would have foreseen that and corrected the Jews if that were the case.

Jesus did correct the Jews. Often. Read the Gospels for the details.

God created the Sabbath for men, not men for the sabbath!

    Read Mark 2

    And take note of

[27] And he said to them: The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath.

torah is judaistic (right out of egyptian laws; http://edward.de.leau.net/the-10-co...n-the-egyptian-book-of-the-dead-20070513.html ...)

and jesus rendered 'injil'............... the new (per se), the evolution

matt is not my favorite book and the reason is on Matt 1, the whole lineage of Joseph to david, then it renders that joseph never touched mary, so there could be no lineage of jesus to david, per the bible, period!

Yet matt 16: 20 is pretty clear and makes perfect sense

Then did he charge his disciples that they may say to no one that he is Jesus the Christ

But mark 10: 17-19 covers the thread up pretty simply

17 And as he is going forth into the way, one having run and having kneeled to him, was questioning him, `Good teacher, what may I do, that life age-during I may inherit?'

    18 And Jesus said to him, `Why me dost thou call good? no one [is] good except One -- God;

19 the commands thou hast known: Thou mayest not commit adultery, Thou mayest do no murder, Thou mayest not steal, Thou mayest not bear false witness, Thou mayest not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.'

Someone asked (per the story/bible) jesus a question, and he answered. No one is that good and then the rules (commands/injil), without the homage, without the ritual BS and pretty universal to anyone of any common sense.

But tttttthe liars perhaps just cant read, cant commit to honest represention and/or are just 'tupid.......

Reminder: perhaps liars should just rest everyday, 7 days a week!

Ah, but Odin hung from the Yggdrasil for nine days and nights, pierced by his own spear, to learn the wisdom of the runes.
